“Bella sweetheart, wake up!” I heard a female voice call out. I couldn’t wake up, even if I knew it was a dream, correction, nightmare. It was worse than any nightmare I had ever had.

“Dear, please wake up.” Esme begged, rubbing my arm, trying to coax me of my nightmare. I sucked in a huge breath and sat up, opening my eyes at the same time. I felt as if I hadn’t been breathing the entire night…

“Are you alright dear? Do you want to talk about it?” Esme asked me, concern evident in her eyes.

I shook my head and gave her a small smile. “Why don’t you freshen up and then come on out to the living room so we can talk ok?” she suggested.

I nodded, “Where is the bathroom?”

“Right through those doors dear, the towels are under the sink.” Esme gave me a smile and walked out of the room. I got out of bed and turned on the shower, undressing and stepping in. The hot water felt nice against my skin, I was relaxed. It didn’t last long…what if it’s true? The dream? Do I ask them? What if I never find him? What if he doesn’t even want to see me? What if his distraction is another? No… I don’t think I would be about to handle that, but I was also unsure about what I would do if that was true.

I stepped out of the still hot water, not feeling relaxed anymore. I threw something on, not looking at it, and then walking down the hall, not paying attention to where I was walking.

Suddenly the air was knocked from me as I was crushed into a huge and very tight hug. I only knew one person to hug me that tight, Emmet. I smile, “Emmet—I can’t—breathe!” He laughed his booming laughter and set me down, only for me to wrap my arms around him, as much as possible since he was so huge, and whispered, “I’ve missed you Em.”

“I’ve missed you too Bells, nothing’s been the same since we left…I’m really sorry…I’ve been a bad brother. Brothers aren’t supposed to leave their sisters…” Emmet looked heart broken.

“Emmet, don’t, please? I forgive you if that makes you feel better, but there’s nothing to forgive.” I told him, hoping for him not to continue on the subject. He smiled at me sadly, looking like he wanted to fight that point, but chose to not.

“Come on Bells, there are some people that want to meet you!” He dragged me to the living room as I laughed lightly. The living room was beautiful. The pale color scheme from what the Cullen’s had continued, but their personal style looked more…expensive and less humble. There was a huge chandelier hanging in the living room ceiling which went higher than I’ve ever seen. There were two expensive looking couches and three love seats along the spacious wall, everything was open and bright, yet comfortable…the glass wall was in place too, it must be a vampire thing.

Carlisle and Esme were sitting on one of the couches with Jasper while Alice sat on the floor in front of him. Emmet went to sit with Rosalie on one of the love seats. There were five new members I’ve never seen before, but would assume were the Denali’s. They were seated on the other two couches. The dark haired male and female were sitting on the couch next to each other, while the three blondes, all different tints sat on the last couch. I went to sit on the love seat across from everyone. Carlisle sat forward and smiled at me, which I tried to return.

“Bella, I would like to introduce you to the Denali’s. This is Carmen and Eleazar, they are mates.” He said, pointing to the dark haired couple. “These are Tanya,” the strawberry blonde haired girl, “Irina” he motioned toward the one with straight, silvery hair, “and Kate.” The last blonde, with long wavy hair that was more of gold like Rosalie’s but not nearly as beautiful.

“It’s nice to meet you all…” I said timidly, embarrassed. Carmen got up and smiled at me, while reaching for my hand. I quickly stood up, to quick, for I stumbled from feeling a head rush. Her hand landed on my shoulder, steadying me. I heard several muffled chuckles, mainly from Emmet. I turned a deep shade of red and mumbled ‘thanks’.
