Chapter 15

*After school*
Justin: *putting books into his locker*
Selena: *sneaking up behind him*
Justin: Hey Sel. *laughs*
Selena: *shocked* What! How did you know it was me? *goes up to him*
Justin: I smelled your perfume. *laughs*
Selena: Dang it. *pouts*
Justin: You're so cute when you fail. *pecks her lips*
Selena: *pouts* more
Justin: *grins and kisses her longer*
Selena: *pulls away smiling* Yay! *giggles* So where are we going today?
Justin: *grabs her hand and starts walking down the hallway* Well maybe I can possibly meet your mother.
Selena: *freezes* Umm I don't know if thats a good idea.
Justin: *stops* You want to talk about it?
Selena: Sure but not here.
Justin: Come on let's go to the woods.

*At their hiding spot*
Justin: So what's wrong?
Selena: My mom and I have become distant lately.
Justin: Distant? But from the stories you told me you guys seemed pretty close.
Selena: *looks down* That was before... before Logan
Justin: Logan? *confused* What does Logan have to do with this?
Selena: When I introduced Logan to my mom she told me he was bad news and to not go out with him. Me being the stubborn person I am I didn't listen. So I spent more time hiding Logan from my mom and less time hanging out with her. One day she caught me when I was sneaking back in the house and I confessed. She was so mad at me. I felt so bad. *tears up*
Justin: Hey hey. It's okay. I know what it's like to not be close with your mother. I have experienced it and still am experiencing it. i can't do anything about it because my mom works too much but you change your relationship with her.
Selena: You're doing it again. *giggles*
Justin: Doing what?
Selena: Making everything right. I swear you're going to be a psychologist when you grow up.
Justin: *laughs* But right now I'm happy at just being your boyfriend. *kisses her cheek*
Selena: *giggles* Okay I'm ready.
Justin: For what?
Selena: For you to meet my mom. *smiles*
Justin: Oh ok. I thought you meant something else. *winks*
Selena: *confused* What are you talking... Wait a minute you pervert. *punches him*
Justin: Owww I was just joking. *laughs*
Selena: You better have. Now lets go!
Justin: Nu-uh not until you kiss it to make it better. *shows her his arm*
Selena: *rolls her eyes playfully* You're such a child. *kisses his arm* Better now?
Justin: Yes. Now we can go.

*At Selena's house*
Selena: Mom!
Selena's Mom (Mandy): Kitchen!
Selena: *to Justin* Stay here. *goes to the kitchen* Hi mom. Umm I wanted to introduce you to my new boyfriend.
Mandy: *drops the dish that was in her hand into the sink* New boyfriend? *wipes her hands on the towel and turns around* What happened to Logan?
Selena: Well you were right about him mom. He is trouble and I... I caught him...ummm *looks down* I caught him kissing another girl.
Mandy: Aww sweetie. *goes up to her and hugs her* Even though I knew I was right I wanted to be so wrong. I'm so sorry.
Selena: I know and I wanted to say I'm sorry that I have been lying to you and tricking you this past year. And I want us to go back to being close again.
Mandy: I would love that. *smiles* Now who is this boyfriend you were talking about?
Selena: *smiles* Come on he's in the living room.

*They both go into the living room*
Selena: Justin this is my mom. Mom this is my boyfriend Justin.
Justin: *shakes her hand* Hello Ms. Gomez. It's nice to meet you.
Mandy: It's nice to meet you too. But please call me Mandy. *whispers to Selena* Very polite
Selena: *laughs* So how about I order some pizza and we can talk outside on the patio.
Mandy: That sounds good to me. Let's go.

*Outside*
Mandy: So Justin do you have a criminal record?
Justin: No, my mom, her friends and my grandparents made sure I didn't do anything wrong.
Mandy: That's good. Any girlfriends in the past?
Justin: Two, but nothing serious.
Mandy: Are you committed to being in a serious relationship?
Justin: Yes ma'am.
Mandy: Are you a virgin?
Selena: MOM!
Mandy: What? I just need to know if he will pressure you into sex.
Justin: *laughs* It's okay Sel. And yes I'm a virgin.
Mandy: Okay that's good. What is your family like?
Justin: Well my parents broke up when I was a baby because my mom had me at a young age. I'm my mom's only child but I have two half-siblings from my dad.
Mandy: Do you get to see them often?
Justin: Unfortunately no because they live in Canada. Only on birthdays and holidays.
Mandy: *feels bad* Oh I'm sorry.
Justin: *smiles a little* It's okay.

*Doorbell rings*
Selena: Must be the pizza. I'll get it. *goes to the door and opens it* Oh... my... gosh. *screams*
