*Joe drops Selena off at Justin's house*
Demi: Bye Sel. See you later at cheer practice.
Selena: Bye Demz. Thanks Joe.
Joe: No probs. Say hi to Justin for me.
Selena: Will do. *goes to the door and rings the doorbell*

Pattie: *opens the door* Oh hey Sel. Looking for Justin?
Selena: Yeah. Is he here?
Pattie: He left here 10 minutes ago to go get us lunch. Come on in and wait for him.
Selena: Thank you. *goes inside*
Pattie: So how was school? Did Justin miss out on a lot?
Selena: School wasn't bad. We were just reviewing for the Math and English finals.
Pattie: Oh ok. It's too bad Justin will miss out on those. The school will probably send those to him.
Selena: Yeah... wait what do you mean he'll miss finals
Pattie: Oh he hasn't told you yet. I guess he's been busy these past 24 hours.
Selena: Hasn't told me what?

*Justin comes in*
Justin: Hey mom I got your food and I... *sees Selena* Oh hey Sel. *goes to her and kisses her cheek*
Selena: Hey Justin.
Justin: You okay? How was school?
Selena: Yeah I'm fine. School was good. Umm Justin i need to talk to you.
Justin: Sure, let me just eat first unless this is something important.
Selena: No you eat it can wait. I'll just sit down and watch TV.
Justin: *goes to kiss her but she moves* Okay then. *goes to the kitchen and eats.*

*Selena's POV*

Is Justin hiding something from me? No he wouldn't, would he? Uhh why can't he just tell me! I mean what Pattie said about him missing finals, what does she mean. She must be clearly mistaken. Justin would've told me. Or would he? I honestly don't even know anymore. This stupid TV show is not helping me with my nerves. Stupid Spongebob. Wait why am I even watching Spongebob?

Justin: I'm ready to talk now.
Selena: Yeah but let's go to your room. *turns off the TV*
*Upstairs*
Selena: Do you have a reason for not being at school today?
Justin: I told you I was tired.
Selena: Oh yeah! Tired from doing what?
Justin: Packing. Look Sel I was going to tell you earlier I was... it's just that I was tired.
Selena: Tell me what?
Justin: Sel you gotta understand I meant to tell you, I just didn't...
Selena: Justin! Stop stalling. Your mom told me you're going to miss finals. What does she mean by that?
Justin: *sighs* Selena. I think you need to sit down. *goes to her*
Selena: *steps back* No I'm not sitting until you tell me what's going on.
Justin: Okay fine. Scooter wants me to leave on Friday.
Selena: What!?!?!? When were you going to tell me? It's Thursday.
Justin: Selena I was going to tell you but I didn't know how to. I'm sorry.
Selena: No Justin, you could text me  saying you weren't going to make it to school but you couldn't have called me yesterday to tell me you were leaving tomorrow!
Justin: You're making all of this seem like it's a big deal.
Selena: Because it is a big deal Justin!  Is there anything else you wanted to tell me?
Justin: *sighs* Sel...
Selena: Oh my gosh there is.
Justin: Selena please don't get mad I have been planning on telling you but not like this.
Selena: Justin what are you hiding from me?
Justin: Scooter offered me a one year contract.
Selena: What?
Justin: I'm going to be gone for a year Sel.
