Chapter one: best friends.

Meena's POV

It was my first day of kindergarten, and my sister, Sheeva, and I had just got out of the car but became sad when our mom told us we weren't going to be In the same class.

"But mommy," I whined. "I want to be in the same class as sheevie!"

"I know, but we can't change it. I'm sure you will forget about it when you make some friends!" My mom, Maryam, said excitedly.

We walked inside and I immediately became shy. Sheeva noticed and became shy as well. We were basically clawing our fingers into our moms thighs so we don't have to go.

"Ay, tsk, don't do that! I know your scared but I'm sure you won't be once you get into your classroom." Our mom assured us.

Sheeva and I both glanced at each other and let go. I could hear our mom breathe a sigh of relief. I bet she was in pain seeing how we both clawed on her thigh. A women with red hair walked over to us.

"Hi I'm Miya you must be Maryam?" She question in a fake sweet tone.

"Yes I'm Maryam nice to meet you. These are my twin girls Sheeva and Meena Afshar." Our mom said in a real sweet tone.

"Hi girls, I'm Mrs. Miya, I believe Meena is in my classroom and Sheeva is in Mrs. Karen's." mrs. Miya said in that disgusting sweet tone of hers.

"Bye Meena have fun!" Our mom said before walking Sheeva to her classroom.

Mrs. Miya turned around and picked me up. "Ok Meena, lets get you to my classroom." I honestly wanted to bite her hand so she could stop holding me.

When Mrs. Miya put me down I ran away to find some friends. I came across a kid who was sitting alone and crying. He was dark skinned and had a "cars" shirt on. I decided to introduce my self to him so I walked over and hugged him. He jumped and backed away.

"Hi, I'm Meena Afshar! What's your name?" I ask the dark skinned boy.

He frowned for a second before smiling. "I'm Leo Dooley! You're cute!" The boy, Leo, said.

I giggled and hugged him. "Why where you crying Leo?"

He sniffed and pulled away from the hug. "My mommy left me!"

I gasped but realized my mommy did too. "Really? My mommy did too! She left with my twin sister."

He looked shocked. "You have a twin? Does she look like you?"

I shook my head, "My mommy said we are the non look alike twins."

"Oh okay. Well do you want to play with me?" He asked.

"Yea!" I yelled. And that was a start of a good friendship.

Sheeva's POV: (after they dropped Meena off with mrs. Miya) *only POV of her and the rest is Meena*

"Bye Meena have fun!" Our mom said before holding my hand and walking me to my classroom.

Once we arrived, a teacher- no wait correction 2 teachers, walked up to us and introduced themselves as Mrs. Danie and Mrs. Karen.

And let me just say, Mrs. Karen had more attitude and sass than Mrs. Miya! But Mrs. Danie is pretty cool. Besides the facts that my mommy said she wants to be a boy and I shouldn't question it...

"Alright class let's get in a circle and introduce each other. My name is Mrs. Danie and I'm your teacher." She then pointed to a girl with short blonde hair.

She didn't say anything at first, but then she said her name was Destiny Loepp and she is 5 yrs old. Then mrs. Danie pointed to everyone around the circle until they got to me.

"Hi my name is Sheeva Afshar and I'm 5 yrs old!" I said proudly.

And then the circle kept going around until we went through everyone.

Mrs. Danie then excused us and let us roam around the classroom. My eyes wonder off to that Destiny girl, so I went up to her and asked if she wanted to play house.

"Yea! I want to be the dog!" Destiny exclaimed.

And I knew, that this was going to be a start of a new friendship.
