Chapter nine: car crash
Meena's POV
One month. It has been one month since the death of my parents. I'm not sad anymore, but I get emotional when people talk about them.
2 days ago, was Destiny's birthday. We didn't really celebrate, we kinda just talked. It is now March 17 and a Saturday. I asked Destiny if she could come over to my house, and Sheeva can meet us here from her house.
It was a few minutes before Destiny came, so I went upstairs to brush my teeth.
I rinsed my mouth and went downstairs to prepare some snacks.

Where is she? It's been an hour? I decided to call D and ask her where she's at.
The line when straight to voicemail. What the heck?
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
I walked to the door and opened it.
"Sheeva? What are you doing here?" I ask her confused.
"Turn on channel 5! NOW!" She screamed.
"ALRIGHT!" I yell back and walk to the TV.
I turn on the TV and turn to channel 5.
"Reports say a girl and what we think is her father, have been in a serious car crash here in Meridian, Idaho." The reporter starts. "The father is dead but the girl is in Coma. Here's a picture of the people."
I drop the remote. The picture was Destiny and Christian. I turn to Sheeva with a horrified look.
"We have to geoleap to the hospital!"

Sheeva and I get to the hospital and run to the front desk lady.
"Ma'am where is Destiny Loepp's room?" I ask in a rush.
"I'm sorry where are your parents?" The lady asks.
"Their dead. They died a month ago. My adopted parents are in California. So I suggest you tell me where her room is before I start crying!" Sheeva yells.
The lady looks at us in shock before nodding and telling us the room number. "She's in room 120."
We thanks the lady and run to room 120.
There she lied. Destiny Jacklyn Loepp.
"We have to help her Sheeva. I scanned her body, she won't make it." I tell Sheeva.
"Give her bionics." Sheeva says
"What?" I ask.
"Give. Her. Bionics." She repeats.
I let her words sink in. My head quickly snaps to Destiny and I hold on to her.
"Sheeva, hold the bed and the oxygen tank. I will hold Destiny.
Ok now think of the lab in Douglas' place. Ready?" I ask.
"Ready."
