I stood in front of his door, my hands were holding a small bucket of flowers and my small purse whilst I breathed nervously.

Without hesitation, I pressed the button and waited for the door to be opened.

My eyes shift downwards as I took deep breaths to calm me down.

Even after dating Tetsurou for nearly one year, I haven't yet met his parents and today was the day that that'd happen.

As soon as I heard that door being opened, my head snapped upwards and my lips formed a nervous smile.

"Hi." I let out.

The woman in front of me stood still with her wide eyes and serious expression.

She looked very young, around the age of 30 or so with black hair and sharp eyes.

I gulp the feeling away and stand with confidence.

A few seconds passed and before I realised what was happening, she had already pulled me inside the house and hugged me tight.

"Oh my, I'm finally meeting you!" She squeals excitedly on my ear.

I awkwardly hug her back, and pull away.

"T-these are for you, Mrs-"

"Oh, please, just call me mum." She interrupts me, taking the flowers from my hands with a huge smile. "These are gorgeous! Where did you get them?"

"My mum is a florist so I managed to get these." I say with a chuckle.

"Oh I see." She nods. "I'll get some water for them and call Tetsurou down, please make yourself at home, honey." She smiles again at me, pointing at the living room.

She walks off happily and shouts at the staircase, my feet already dragging me to the living room.

Just as I was about to sit down, an arm wraps itself around my waist and brings me into a muscular chest.

"Tetsu." I sigh in relief.

I hug his neck, getting rid of my worries as he hugged my torso tightly.

"Hey." He says on my neck.

We pull away but I give him a small peck on the lips.

"How's my mum been treating you?" He asks, sarcasm laced in his voice and a small smile playing on his lips.

"She's very nice. At first time she scared the fuck out of me-"

"She did the look." I heard him mumble.

"Eh?"

"She looked at you weirdly with a dark glare, didn't she?" He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose.

I nod slowly and he shook his head.

"Alright, ignore that, that's kind of natural for her. C'mon now, dinner's ready." He pulls me by my hand.

I follow behind him with a small giggle.

It's adorable how well he knows his mum...

We walked into the kitchen and I saw both his parents by the table, sharing a passionate kiss.

"Mum, dad!" Kuroo exclaims, pulling me beside him.

I let out a small giggle as his parents pull away, his dad wearing the same smirk as Kuroo and his mum blushing like a little girl.

"Guys, you promised." Kuroo groans.

"Yeah, whatever." His dad rolls his eyes before looking at me. "Oh? You must be my son's girlfriend."

I nod and take a small step forwards.

"My name's (L/n) (F/n), it's very nice to meet you." I smile.

He simply nods and looks over to his wife.

"Okay, sit, sit, dinner is at the table." Mum says excitedly.

Kuroo sighs and pulls me to the seat beside him.

''Let's eat!" We all say in unison.

I wait until his parents took a bite before taking one myself.

As soon as I felt the texture one my tongue, my eyes went wide and I let out a soft moan.

"This is delicious!"

I laughed at the embarrassing story of Kuroo in a dress and placed the dirty plates on the counter.

The dinner was amazing.

His parents turned out to be surprisingly nice and now we were chatting like as if we have known each other since kids.

"Thank you for the dinner, it really was amazing." I say one more time, bowing slightly at the elder couple.

"Oh, darling please. It was my pleasure.'' She smiled at me, with a hand on my shoulder.

"Anyways, we'll be leaving shortly-"

"You guys are going today?"I hear Kuroo asked from behind me, his hand resting at the top of my bum.

"Yes, the reservation was made for tomorrow but we'll leave today for sightseeing." His dad replies, wrapping his arm on top of his wife's shoulder.

I glanced at Kuroo and saw a smirk on his face. "Alright. I'll put your luggage on the car."

Kuroo squeezed my ass slightly before leaving the room with a grin on his face.

I felt my face heat up and tried to mask it with a cough.

"Aw, you guys are too cute." I hear his mum comment. "Y'know, you two remind me of myself and-"

"Mum, please." Kuroo suddenly appears on the door way, holding a big suitcase. "Don't." He pleads.

His parents and I share a small laugh and follow him to the car.

"How many bags are there left?" His dad asks, pointing towards their room.

"Like 2." Kuroo replied, placing the suit case inside the car.

His dad nods and both boys walk into the house, disappearing into an unknown room, leaving his mum and I alone by the front door.

"Y'know, Tetsurou is not a bad kid." His mum starts.

I look at her and notice her caring eyes staring ahead of her.

"He's always been there for his friends and loved ones and despite looking like a 'playboy'," she quotes, rolling her eyes. "He is not a bad kid."

I smile sweetly at her as I see the two men coming our way with the finals bags.

"I know, I'll take good care of him." I say confidently.

She returns the smile and I watch as she struts to her husband with a big smile, leaving Kuroo by my side, his arm on my waist.

"Behave, I'll be back a few days." His dad warns us, waving shortly.

Kuroo replies with one of his smart comments and they both laugh.

The older couple get inside the car and in seconds, they were already driving away.

I let out a relieved sigh.
