  One Month Later

To Whom it May Concern:

It's been a month since that night I put an end to my family's nightmare. I can walk around now without having to hold my sides in pain, so I'm pretty much healed! Daichi and I stay in contact with each other to talk since, we went through this together. Though he's not as better as I am. He's still in therapy to walk normally, but he's almost there. The gash on his face is healed though. He'll have a scar, that's all. He also said he was going to leave tokyo and travel around America. I told him he's welcome in Kansas and that I most likely will never go back to japan. After we were found by some teenagers that night we were rushed to the hospital. The only reason it was no trouble was due to Daichi flashing his badge, and the questions were dropped. After a few days in the hospital I was free to fly home and Daichi said he'd be fine, so I did. I left him with his mom. When I got home my parents and Cam bombarded me with questions, but the parents dropped it, glad I was safe, though Cam wanted to know everything. We were really lucky, but now we have to try and move on with life. My family isn't completely recuperated from Yana's death, and we won't be for a long time. I don't know if I ever will be completely, but we're working through it together. One day we'll heal, it'll just take time.

I breath in satisfaction and fold the letter in half before tossing it out the window watching it float on the afternoon breeze, carrying it to whoever was interested.

Same Time: Tokyo Japan

A priestess by the name of Adachi, closes her shrine to go see her son. She sees a lone visitor coming from under the torii gate. Ready to see her son, she locks her door and shouts that the shrine is now closed over her shoulder in japanese. When she turns around a woman in a trench coat with a grisly smile is standing right behind her. Before the priestess can even react Kuchisake-onna raises her scissors and brings them down, not even giving the priestess time to pray.
