Nathaniel: Our story begins with a timid child named Elijah Galvin.

Calli: Of course you would start with Elijah.

Nathaniel: What do you mean?

Calli: GEE! I wonder why you would start the story with your BOYFR-

Nathaniel: SHUT UP! He's not my boyfriend..yet...Anyways we open within his dorm room. He is fast asleep as his puffy white comforter that surrounds him head to toe. His wall in his corner of the room are aligned with pictures of him and his non-blood brother Emmett Liddel. Elijah and Emmett have been best friends ever since kindergarten. Elijah's family had moved in with Alice and Emmett ever since Elijah's mom had passed away. Alice wanted to give back to the one that took her to Wonderland in the first place, she had also understood what it was like to lose the one you love.

Calli: Such a coincidence that both Emmett and Elijah had lost a parent each. That really does suck.

Nathaniel: It truly is unfortunate for the both of them. Fast forward to 2017 and Elijah and Emmett have become roommates at Deca Cards boarding High School.

Calli: And why is today exciting?

Nathaniel: Today is the first day of school for our junior class, and it will also be the start of a story that will forever change their lives.

Calli: I see, Oh! Look!, Elijah's alarm is about to go off.

Nathaniel: IT IS?!?!?

Calli: Yes! 6:00 in the morning.

Nathaniel: Okay! I have to go readers, i'll come back every so often to move the story to various students.... You'll see that later. For now, enjoy Elijah's point of view. No matter what he says.... He really is interesting.

Calli: Oh my gosh! Shut up and ask him out already you nerd

Nate: Shhhhh, he's sleeping.

~Elijah~

My alarm starting screeching in my ears. I pulled my puffy white comforter away from my face and yawned. I sat up and stretched my arms until I heard my spine crack. I rubbed my eyes and reached for my glasses from my side table on my bed. As soon as I placed my thick, square rimmed glasses over my eyes i could see the time on my alarm clearly.

"OH CRAP!" I yelled from the top of my lungs as I picked up my phone to turn off my alarm.

"What happened! Who do i need to punch!" Emmett yelled from across the room. His blond and brown hair was just as a mess as his bed was. His side off the room was adorned with band posters and maps from the many different lands he wished to visit.

"I swear to God if I need to punch Jack again.." he said before I cut him off.

"No, no, no! Jack isn't here, it's the time!" I jumped out of my bed and looked across the room. Two empty beds on the opposite side of mine and Emmett's, two closets and two dressers. I ran over to my white dresser and searched each drawer looking for my white polo shirt, navy blue shorts, black ankle socks, grey beanie and black tie.

"What time is it Eli?"

"It's 7:45! If we don't get up we will be late for our first day of school. You know how much I hate being late!"

"Elijah calm down! You are going to be fine. Just because your dad was always late doesn't that you will be."

"White Rabbit lateness runs in the family."

Emmett then got up groggily and I continued to run around like a headless chicken. I can't be late, I don't want to be late. I picked up my white converse and ran into the bathroom. I slammed the door open and flipped the switch to illuminate the room. I took one long look in the mirror until I realized that I was staring at my own reflection. My hair was a mess, eyebrows as well, it looked like I had just walked out of a fatal windstorm. My collar was flipped upright and my tie was tied incorrectly....again. UGGGH! I NEED TO HURRY.
