The movie ended and Axel turned the lights on which made everyone uncomfortable.

"What the hell man!" Vincent said, stretching his arms.

"You have beautiful crimson eyes, Vincent," Rin said as she looked over to Vincent.

Taurus turned to her confused, but still holding her body against his, as they were cuddling during the movie.

"...Thanks," Vincent replied with a blank expression on his face as he rose up and slowly walked towards the foyer. Mizore kept her eyes on Vincent as he walked away.

Axel's cell phone began to ring, it was his mother.

"Yeah, mom?" Axel spoke into the phone.

- - -

"Okay, no problem..." Axel spoke softly and looking let down. He hung up the phone and walked out into the foyer.

"Rin, mom wants us back home. No questions asked,"

"But Axel, we just got here," Rin said letting go of Taurus, concerned.

"You know how mom is when it comes to going out. She did, however, say the Valenfernas are invited over for dinner once Crescent City is back in shape. I assume this upcoming Friday," Axel briefly explained.

Rin looked over to Mizore and quickly back to Axel.

"I... I suppose," Rin said as she began to follow Axel slowly outside.

The two left without really saying goodbye.

"What was that?" Taurus asked sarcastically.

"He knows something... He has to," Nagan said, changing the tone and while sitting down on the edge of the sofa.

"I know. He is never like that, not even a school..." Mizore said as she walked over to Nagan.

The four of them headed back into the theatre.

"Not to sound like a complete asshole, but thank the Gods they're gone, I needed to talk to you all about today," Nagan explained as everyone walked out into the foyer.

Naga watched Rin and Axel leave in a black SUV and followed the car through the street with his eyes.

"Sure, it's important... but we can't continue beating this dead horse," Taurus explained.

"It's a lot to take in, Taurus. I know this stresses you out but it stresses all of us out!" Nagan explained with a slight rise in his tone of voice.

"...Nagan," Mizore complained, bending her eyebrows and frowning.

"I'm sorry..." Nagan turned to Mizore and shook his head, "I just feel like we're running out of time,"

Nagan walked into the theatre and his siblings shortly followed.

"So where are you going with all of this? What's with this drastic change in attitude?" Vincent asked as he sat down.

"I wanted to go over this a few hours ago... but we were interrupted," Nagan explained.

Mizore, Vincent, and Taurus sat down close to Nagan as it was only the right thing to do in order to hear everything.

Nagan sighed and crossed his arms. The three could tell he was stressed and on edge about the possibility of Axel Knowing.

"A couple of days ago, you thought you were just teenagers hating school and always tired or hungry. As children of a Satan, we're gifted with special abilities, dark abilities. It's a called Devil Genesis. We're branded with marks at a certain age when we realize our true potential. A Devil Genesis is a defense mechanism that gives you specific abilities," Nagan tried his best to explain.

"What do you mean when you say 'We're branded,'" Vincent asked.

"A tattoo is burned onto our skin when having access to our Devil Genesis. Think of it like how people burn their labels on cows," Nagan explained.

"Do you have your tattoo?" Taurus asked.

Nagan looked away, and let a few tears stream down his face.

"I do," Nagan said as he stood up straight. He lifted his shirt and on the right side of his chest, just above the areola, a small mark that was the shape of a sun could be seen, about the size of a bottle cap.

The three got close to Nagan and examined the mark.

"When did you get your Devil Genesis?" Vincent asked.

"When I was just a child... when I had that nightmare," Nagan explained.

Mizore looked into Nagan's eyes with remorse and sorrow, wanting to hug her older brother.

"What are your abilities? Mizore asked, allowing her eyes to water.

"When I activate my Devil Genesis, I have more tattoos and markings spread all over my body. I gain immense speed and can call fiends at my will and speak to them. I have some kind of wildlife ability," Nagan explained, making it seem like it isn't as bad.

"When will we get ours?" Taurus asked, completely oblivious to Nagan's Genesis.

"It depends. It will hurt and it will cause your brain to go through some sort of calamity. It will happen at a very significant time in your life," Nagan explained, "Your abilities are unknown until you get your mark. Abilities in Genesis Arts have to be practiced to be perfected. We can research what kind of abilities you may get  in the room above,"

Mizore stared at her open palms with curiosity, "I didn't know we held so much power... just for being children of the Satan,"

"Now I know why we're such a threat..." Vincent explained as he bent his eyebrows and looked at Nagan, trying not to cry.

"The people of Nirvana make it seem that way. It's like they have everyone brainwashed into thinking everyone who knows dark casting is evil," Nagan said.

Everyone settled down and went to sleep, knowing things about themselves that they have yet to experience. Maybe being the children of the greatest evil to ever plague the worlds would be fun, but not when you're the enemy to your closest friends they suppose.

- Light Castle, 2:09 a.m.-

Rin and Axel fast asleep in the Light Castle as was everyone else: Maids, butlers, soldiers, and cooks.

The Butterfly Spirit, a light Goddess and the exact opposite of Inferno, the enemy of the Satan. Today's Butterfly Spirit is none other than Rin and Axel's mother, but what was she doing up so late while everyone was asleep?

The Butterfly Spirit was in her office sitting beside a burning fireplace on the phone with a mysterious woman.

"You see, my dear childhood friend, I know what is happening in this town and I know exactly when to begin. Now is not the time, however, I can't exactly say soon either. But this generation lacks a conscript, and I think I know exactly who will be the chosen one to serve as my conscript... why, it has always been them to begin with, correct?" She spoke into the phone as she looked into a crystal ball with the image of the Valenferna Mansion.
