Vincent and Nagan made their way back home after a relaxed day at the mall. Vincent decided it was the perfect time to call Asuna and ask if she wanted to come over even though they saw each other not too long ago.
The sun began to set and clouds rolled their way in over Crescent City creating a dark orange color palette in the sky.
"Hey, babe..." Vincent said over the phone as he casually walked into the kitchen.
Vincent opened the refrigerator while holding his phone between his head and his right shoulder.
"I was wondering if you wanted to come over and maybe just chill for the rest of the day?" Vincent continued as he scoured through the contents of his fridge.
"I mean, it's almost like, seven... sure," Asuna replied cheerfully but hesitant.
"Alright thanks, babe. I love you." Vincent said while closing the fridge.
"Love you too." Asuna said before she hung up the phone.
Meanwhile, Taurus was in the theater room watching a popular television show called "How to Get Away with Murder", while snacking on hot chips and a very unhealthy soda.
Taurus looked to his right where his phone was just out of grasp, sitting on the sofa next to him.
Taurus bent his eyebrows and squinted his eyes, "How did you get there,"
He leaned over to reach for his phone but was only an inch away from retrieving it.
As he reached, a dark aura began to seep through the bottom of the door and slowly crept up behind Taurus.
Taurus felt a cold breeze from behind him and quickly turned around to see a woman in white standing by the door of the theater.
Taurus felt completely paralyzed and had a hard time breathing or speaking as he lie on his back.
The woman in white had her back towards him. He couldn't help but notice her long brown hair and that she was barefoot.
She slowly turned around to reveal her fleshless appearance.
She mouthed a few words to him but were ineligible to Taurus. Within an instant, Taurus woke up to the sharp ringing in his ears from his cellphone.
Taurus was sweaty and very quick sporadic in his movements.
He answered his phone while "How to Get Away with Murder" was still playing on the large television.
"Hey... Rin. Sorry, I just woke up from a bad dream," Taurus said over the phone as he rubbed his eyes with one hand.
"How to Get Away with Murder is so boring that you fell asleep? I could've told you that. Anyway, I was hoping we could go to Nelly's Tavern after school on Monday," Rin asked over the phone.
Rin was Taurus's girlfriend. They've been together since sophomore year and met through their parents. Rin is the princess of Light and Crescent City, so it's hard for them to spend time together, considering she is home-schooled.
"I have a club meeting on Monday, you'll get out before me anyway," Taurus explained.
"I could always wait for you at your school," Rin said excitedly as she spoke into her phone.
"No. I don't want you to wait with your bodyguards and cause all that attention..." Taurus further explained, "We'll make something work during the week, got it?"
"...I guess," Rin said with a sigh.
Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Vincent and his mother sat at the island counter while waiting for some coffee being brewed.
