Tyler shoves his hands in his pockets before following Josh and mumbling incoherently. Josh just ignores him and continues towards their destination. They're both completely silent for 45 seconds before Josh sighs and asks, "Why aren't you talking?"
Tyler furrows his eyebrows in his direction before shrugging, not knowing what to say. "You're literally always taking," Josh points out.
"How do you know I'm always talking?" Tyler asks.
"Because you're the loudest person in the school, you'd talk shit to the janitor if he didn't avoid you for spilling bleach on his spaghetti last year."
"That was an accident!" Tyler exclaims, his face glowing red. Josh just let's out a quiet laugh and nods.
"I'd be concerned if it hadn't been an accident."
"Where exactly are we going?" Tyler asks after a few moments of silent walking.
A smirk makes it's way onto Josh's face as he lifts his head. "Just to the lake."
Tyler's blood runs cold after his words, "You mean like where the stoners hang out? Because, like I said, I have to be home by seven and I really don't think-"
"Oh, calm down, Joseph, you'll be fine."
