Kitna pramanik tha uska dukh ladki ko daan mei dete waqt,
Jaise vahi uski ek antim punji ho.
Ladki abhi sayaani na thi,
Abhi toh itni bholi saral thi
Ki usse sukha ka abhas toh hota tha,
Lekin dukh bachna nhi aata tha.
Pathika thi vah khule aakash ki,
Kuch tukon aur kuch laybadh panktiyon ki.
Maa ne kaha paani mei jhank kar,
Apne chehre par matt rijhna.
Aag rotiyan sekne ke liye hai,
Jalne ke liye nhi.
Vastra-abhushan shabdik bhramon ke tarah,
Bandhan hai stri jeevan ke.
Maa ne kaha ladki hona,
Par ladki jaisi dikha mat dena
- kavivar Rituraj.
