Leaves loosely fell as I walked down the old road to the park. I tried to so hard to see the world as beautiful as her, but everything just looked the same. The bland oak trees, the run down and new cars passing, regular people walking their dogs, and children playing in piles of leaves. What was she seeing that I couldn't possibly notice.

I walked to the swings and kicked the mulch. I close my eyes and let the wind swing me back and forth.

"Sky?"  Her voice rings through my ears like a sweet song.

I turn my body and faced her with a small smile to greet her. She walks over to me and sits beside me. We started to talk for a bit, but soon ended in silence.

She started to swing on the swing. She laughed as her body lifted higher and higher. I watched her doe eyes squint in excitement as she jumped off the swing. She looked at me with a smile and I just smiled back.

"Why are you here?" I start.

"To take pictures." She digs through her purse and pulls out a canon camera and shyly smiles. Her hair falls in front of her face while she blushes. I take her beauty as long as I could till she looked back up.

"Is it okay if I change your plans?"

"Depends." She bites her lip.

"Let's go for a walk." I start going into a direction and I knew she would go along with me.

I soon saw her on my heels with a jubilant smile spread across her face.

"Where are we going?"

"Wherever the wind may take us." I look behind me and catch a glimpse of her pouting. I grin a bit as I keep walking.

I walk deep into the park and making many twist and turns. As she admires her surroundings I admire her.

I hop on these stones and slip somewhat. We both laugh as I flail my body around. We come to a pond and there's a hare skittering around.

"Come on over here." I gesture my hands and I walk into the sea of trees deeper. She's stalking on my heels as I move branches out of our way.

"You really like adventures don't you?" She breathlessly ask.

"Yeah. It's fun to explore." I shrug as rest on tree, comfortably situating myself so I wasn't hurting myself on the rock.

"Can we stay here till night?"  I hear her say.

"Why?" I turn around my head and stare look up with a questioning look. Her brown sugar eyes shine with a sprinkle of honey as the sun glistens for a second on her. For a split second I swore she was an angel.

"I want to see the moon with you tonight." She bites her lip and squirms a bit. I smile at her and she looks down and blushes.

We stayed there till her parents said it was time to go. We laid under the tree and just watch the moon. She came close to me and hugged me slowly.

"I like this." She whispered.

Me too. I smile.

Yes, I do like her.
