High School Sweethearts

School

Becky and Barry has been going out for a bout 2 months. Becky had icy blue eyes, dirty blonde hair that was usually in a ponytail. Becky walked with confidence letting her hair swing while the maroon skirt she was wearing twirled as she approached Barry. Barry was still his shy, geeky, adorable self. His hair was a mess as he almost missed the bus. "Hey Barry are we still on for our double date! Me, You, Iris and Carter at Jitters for trivia night!" She said her eyes glittery.

She stared at Barry's ever changing eyes as they were a green color with specs of blue and brown. He nervously stuttered "y-yeah I guess so?"
"You're such a cute dummy when your nervous! See you later Barry."
Normally Barry would've been thrilled to have a girlfriend especially as beautiful as Becky. But he was in love with someone else someone beautiful, Iris West. Barry sprinted to his first period entering the room with just a few seconds to spare. When he caught his breath it was ripped away again seeing her big brown eyes glimmer as he went to sit with her. Her hair haphazardly tossed onto her left shoulder, she wore a white shirt obviously too big tied on the side. She had a pair of light jeans on hugging her long legs. Her boots which had a army green color heeled slightly so she didn't seem like a dwarf next to Barry. Over the summer Barry was a little bit taller than Iris day by day. Iris was used to being the protector just like the day they met. Iris wasn't short either at 5'7 Iris knew how to handle herself. Barry was 6'2 obviously taking after his dad who was even taller. "Just in time Mr.Allen." Said Miss Day the new history teacher.
Mr. Hastings had to leave for health issues which no one was unhappy about because of his mean attitude toward them. "Sorry Miss Day I got a little held up." Barry said sheepishly trying to avoid conflict.
"It's fine Barry. Now for me to accept the apology I'm gonna need you to tell me a key term and it's definition?" She asked her eye brow slightly raised.
He answered getting it correct. Barry and Iris sat and talked when she told them to do partner work. Until he felt a hand on his shoulder. "Hey Barry can I speak to you?"
Barry swallowed nervously as he followed her into the hallway. " I know I'm a teacher but when I see stuff like this I've got to act like a friend. You see the more you act like you don't have feelings for Iris the more oblivious she'll be until she falls in love with someone else. My advice you tell her how you feel. I know you're living situation right now but still she needs to know. My fiancé and I started as best friends I kept my feeling deep inside. One of my friends told me I had to tell him so I did. And now we're engaged and happy together. So tell her Barry I've seen the way she looks at you the result will be positive. Now finish up your project with her."

Barry was taken back a bit should he take her advice or ignore it. He doesn't want to loose her he needs her now his mom and dad are gone. So he returned to his spot finishing his project with Iris while the wheels turned in his head. "Why did she call you out there?" Iris said
"Going over some work." He smiled at her trying to change the subject.
"Well we are done and in record time. We made a great team Mr. Allen."
"Yes we do West!" Barry playfully said.
The bell rang and he went out of the classroom headed downstairs to his Math class. With his mind filled how was he going to focus on math?

Barry sat down taking a seat next to Jessica Parker surprisingly early. Then a girl with brown hair and doe eyes sat next to Barry. Mrs.Mack did roll call and that's when he learned her name Caitlin Snow. He thought about her name the way it sounded like something out of movie. She moved to live with her Aunt in Central City. "Hi I'm Barry! Barry Allen."
"Caitlin Snow! Nice to meet you Barry."
"I hope you don't mind me asking but why did you move to live with your Aunt in Central City?"
