I wanna dedicate this chapter to my best friend, Bella I love you to death! Thank you for dealing with my crazy shit!
Luke's POV
It hurt for a second, I watched a tear slip down her cheek, and I knew she felt the pain as well. Leaning down I kissed it away. She smiled at me as I finished. I collapsed on the now messed up bed display. Her bare sweaty body stuck to mine as she laid next to me. "Thank you Luke" I felt her smiled into my chest. I kissed her head and my nostrils were filled with her lavender scented shampoo.
"Come on I wanna show you what I use to love to do here as a kid." She smiled as she started to dress herself. I did the same and followed her away from the home decor section and into the outdoor living part of the store. There were displays of trampolines and little play houses only children could fit into. I was amazed by how big this store is I got lost in the aisles. I turned around and had lost Sydney. "Syd?" My voice echoed off the walls. I head a small nose growing louder until I saw Sydney zoom by on our of those little cars.
I laughed and ran out of the aisle to watch her ride up and down the concrete floor. He laughter never stopped and my smile never fell. Together we could be the happiest, but apart we were seen as the saddest. She was the light missing from my life, the part Aleisha could never give me. She slowed down when she reached the aisle I was standing in front of. "Go get one. Then we can race" she giggled with a gleam in her eye.
I smiled and walked towards the aisle and picked a small black jeep looking car. I turned it on and stepped in, positioning myself to make sure I could keep the car stable. I stepped on the gas petal, the car sped up and jerked me body forward. I stabilized the car and moved quickly towards Sydney. She smiled at me sitting on her bright pink Camero looking car. We moved together in unison until we reached the 'starting line.' I positioned my car and waited to hear the word go. "First one back to the home decor wins" she smirked "ready. set." She started
"Go" and we were both off going as fast as we could go in the little cars. She started off in the lead but her car seemed to slow down, letting me take the lead. I was almost to the home decor when she sped up and was able to take first place.
She winked at me as she passed by leaving me to laugh in the dust. She finished and waited for me to get to her. I slipped out of the car and smiled pulling her fragile body into mine. She laid her hand on my chest to stabilize herself. "Well Mr.Hemmings the night is almost at an end." She sighed softly. I laid my chin on the top of her head. "I don't ever want this night to end" I smiled into her light brown hair. "A few more hours lukey, so lets make then count" she yanked on my arm again pulling me towards outdoor living.
Sydney's POV
Into the trampoline set up we went. When I was little I use to hang out at this store all day, and when my dad closed the store or became my own little world. I played on every display their was and always stole the products I could. Then again it was my dad's store, so I wouldn't get in trouble for what I grabbed. Most of my Christmas presents came from there anyway. So it was like an early Christmas.
Luke and I bounced on the good sized trampoline display. I watched his fringe bounce in front of his face. His smiled left even when he lost the car race. He kept positive and stayed with me the whole night. I don't think he planned on leaving me for awhile. I'm glad I met Luke. If I didn't, I wouldn't be alive right now. My parents would have succeeded and smiled as they watched my lifeless body fall to the floor. Then the next morning they'd wake up, all sober now and realize what they had done. They wouldn't regret, they would bury my body in the grassy backyard.
Maybe someone would have found my body and reported them. I doubt it, no one knew me or really payed attention to me. Except for Kylie, she'd go into one of her detective modes but she's end up not finding any clues and finally letting it go. I'd be laying in a dirt grave, with no one looking for me or even bothering to ask about me. I'd be a lost memory. A memory you think is fake but actually happened. A dream that you wouldn't remember in the morning.
If it weren't for Luke I wouldn't be so happy right now. "The sun's coming up soon" he yawned. "Never pulled an all nighter I'm guessing" I giggled at his cute little yawn. "Should we get out of Here?" He asked. "You're dad will be coning soon right?" I nodded slowly as I rolled my eyes. "One more thing before we go" I smirked. I grabbed a tube of black paint and splattered it on the floor. I dipped the paint brush I found in the paint and swiped it on the wall. Luke looked at me while I did this with plenty of questions.
I drew small details that I knew were necessary and words make the drawing perfect. I stepped back and admired the large black penis drawn on the white walls. Luke giggled from behind me as he examined the small details. I turned around with a satisfied grin. "Ready?" He asked and I nodded walking towards the back door. I didn't bother to shut the lights off. "Deal with it, prick" I whispered to myself looking down at my feet.
