Hey all - this is a bit of a shorter chapter as the story is almost over :) I want to make sure the last chapter is focused on tying up the story, this is more of a set up for the completion.

The early morning sunlight hit Josh's face, he rolled over, searching for his nightstand, looking for the time to be displayed for him from his bedside clock...and that's when it hit him...he wasn't in his room. He rubbed his eyes, squinting as the memories from the night before came flooding back...patchy memories. He held his hand to his forehead as he realized where he was. He felt the fabric of his jeans against his skin, and crawled out of the bed, searching the apartment for his missing shirt and belt, finding them in the kitchen and quickly scrambling to put them back in their proper place, redressing himself.

He heard Jen's voice call out behind him, and felt her arms wrap around his waist. He closed his eyes, wincing, as if the sound of her voice, the sensation of her touch were causing him pain. "Jen...what happened last night?" He asked, his voice raspy. He was still in a state of shock. "Somebody had a few too many drinks and passed out before we could finish what we started." She growled as she began rubbing her hands along his chest, pressing her breasts against his back as she hugged him from behind. Josh closed his eyes, shaking his head.

"It's okay, I'm going to start up a shower so we can get back to where we left off." She smiled, grabbing his hand and turning him around, she pulled in his face to kiss him. It felt so uncomfortable now in the soberness of morning. Josh's brain was scattered. The familiarity of the movements was no longer there. He suddenly missed the sensation of having to bend down to kiss a woman. Images of Allie climbing up to her tip toes just to brush her lips with his began flooding his brain. She was so much shorter than Jen was. He hadn't realized how much he had gotten used to Allie's frame, her size, the layout of her body, her smell. Suddenly the feeling of Jen's lips on his was foreign, uncomfortable. He squinted, shaking his head again. "Um, I... I've got a bit of a headache." Josh grumbled as he massaged his temples, trying to sort through the confusion of the thoughts and images that he was drowning in.

"There's some tylenol in the cabinet." Jen said, motioning towards the washroom.

"Look, Jen... I, I really don't feel that great. I think I should head home incase I'm going to be sick." He said, instantly seeing the disappointment in her eyes. "Look, I'll call you later tonight okay, we can talk, I can come back over when I'm feeling better." He said. Jen demanded his phone and put her number into it. "You'll call me right?" "Yes."

Josh stumbled into his apartment, throwing his clothes off and curling up onto his bed. His eyes searched for the familiar red light of his bedside clock. "Fuck" He groaned when he saw that it was only 6:30. He tossed and turned trying to force himself back to sleep. Finally he reached for his phone. He opened his photos and stared at a picture of Allie that he had saved. His mind relaxing as he smiled. Perhaps it was the lack of sleep, or the remaining alcohol in his system, or maybe it was the memories of the night before...but he suddenly felt the overwhelming urge to talk to her. His finger hovered over her name in his contacts and he finally pressed dial.
