Chapter 1

Airport,

Some people say goodbye
Some people are happy and smile
Some people are sad and cry
Meanwhile..
I'm here, I'm going to have fun
I'm going to fly and run
Escaping the city and follow the sun

Kalea's POV

The night sky was full of stars but no moon, I'm here in my bedroom balcony looking at the stars,

"Tomorrow is going to be a great day" I said to myself

I can't hide my excitement I' m going on a vacation with Aaron and my bestfriends. I'm going to Australia, I don't know why are we going there, but I'm still excited. Every summer Aaron, my bestfriends, and I always travelling, It has been our routine since this group of friends or we call it squad was made. Well I have a squad, not that kind of squad, I've been friends with them ever since we started middle school. So there are Ashley, Jason, Aaron, and I. Yes, Aaron is the one from the squad too. I've known him my whole life, and I think it's not a bad idea to be in a relationship with someone that you know since kindergarten, Aaron is my neighbour, we always attended the same school and now I've been dating him for almost a year. My phone suddenly ringing out of nowhere, I can see Aaron's name on the screen

"Hey" Aaron said, his voice sounds so raspy and tired

"Hey, what's up? " I replied

"I thought you were asleep"

"No, I'm still wide awake"

"It's twelve in the morning, and we're going to Aussie tomorrow go get some sleep"

"Yeah Aaron, you too, you sound so tired"

"I will, goodnight Lea"

As I was saying goodnight he hangs up the phone,
Aaron calls me Lea, well that nickname was born because when he was in the kindergarten, it was so hard for him to say the word "k". So instead of calling me Kalea he calls me Lea. It's a good one though, some of my friends calls me Kale uh, I hate that. I go to bed right after Aaron hung up the phone. I really can't wait for tomorrow.

Rather be is echoing in my bedroom, the song of my alarm.
I try so hard to open my eyes, I'm so lazy yet so excited at the same time. After a few minutes of crawling in bed i finally get up and take a bath. I took a really long bath. After that i put on a shirt and ripped skinny jeans, as i put my leather jacket for a finish look I heard my mom yelling my name from the kitchen

"Kalea, Aaron is already here" she said. Oh my god why did he come so early?

I decided to do my make up in Aaron's car, then I run downstairs, I get a glimpse of Aaron, he is sitting on the couch in my living room, instead of greeting Aaron I walk to the kitchen because I am starving

"What did you cook mom?" I asked

"I made omelettes baby, bring this to Aaron" she said as she handed me two plates

"Okay mom" I take the plate to the living room

"Hey" Aaron said, greeting me

"Hey eat this, for your breakfast" I said as I handed the plate to Aaron

"Thanks" he replied.

After we finished our breakfast, Aaron helps me with my luggage, everything is packed and I am ready to go, I say goodbye to my mom and my dad and hug them tight before we leave. I heard my mom whispered to Aaron. I am a hundred percent sure, she told Aaron to look out for me. We walk to the car, Aaron's driver is driving so he sat on the backseat with me
