Part 3 Chapter 1

February 25th, the morning after Remus finally kissed Jasmine; well that was how Sirius looked at the morning. It was another quidditch match morning; in fact it was the first Ravenclaw match of the year, this time against Gryffindor.

Jasmine had woken early, as did Emma and the two dressed in their robes and headed down to the grand hall early. Emma growled a bunch of bull-crap about how it was a Saturday and she was meant to be sleeping in, though as soon as she saw the Gryffindor team she straightened up and pranced through the hall. They were the first Ravenclaws in the hall, though the rest of the team came in shortly after, and surprisingly, Lily.

She walked her way over to the Ravenclaw table, plopping herself down beside Riley Marat (Sixth year and team keeper) before talking to Jasmine and Emma who were in front of her.

“Tell me what the look on Potter’s face is.” She requested lazily. Both Emma and Jasmine looked over her shoulder to find James with a rather shocked face; he seemed still too shocked to be angry yet. They told Lily this and she laughed quietly. Riley shook his head in amusement,

“You enjoy annoying him don’t you!” it wasn’t even a question.

“Well he annoys me constantly, don’t see why I can’t have a little fun!” Lily said, pulling a pouty face. Riley’s face stayed straight for a second before he started chuckling and shaking his head, Lily then too started laughing.

“Potter didn’t like that” Emma said, as she watched Potter’s reaction as he observed the interaction between Lily and Riley.

Before the two teams knew it, it was time to start heading to the pitch to prepare.  Jasmine was incredibly nervous, she had been training a new technique, where her body left the broom for several seconds to catch the snitch. She wasn’t sure if it would work. As she headed down towards the pitch, walking behind her team and Lily, she saw Remus walking alone, book in hand, reading away. She glanced back at her team, they wouldn’t notice her, she would be back soon, they wouldn't even know she had left. With those thoughts, she snuck around behind Remus and, with a spurt of bravery that was more Gryffindor then Ravenclaw, she grabbed Remus' shirt collar.

This shocked him greatly, calling out greatly in shock. Jasmine shushed him, not wanting to alert her team of the situation. As Remus realised it was Jasmine, he let her drag him around a nearby corner so her team mates wouldn't see her.
"Why'd you do that?" He said, laughing slightly. When he said that Jasmine shied slightly,
" ahhhhhhh" she stalled, luckily for her Remus knew what she wanted; he leaned forward, their lips meeting.

"CRAP!" Jasmine yelled as she saw her watch after a while, "gotta go!" She yelled back to Remus, he shook his head at her, smiling.

"Where have you been?!" Emma yelled at Jasmine as she entered the Ravenclaw changing rooms.
"I forgot my gloves" Jasmine lied, turning away to leave Emma with no room to argue.
"Ok guys, we are about to go on, remember your training and the game plan and we'll all be fine, ok?" Everyone nodded just in time to hear the call for them to exit the change rooms.

As they exited the crowd cheered. The team ground to a halt except Jasmine, who kept walking to shake Potter's hand. The handshake was firm, a little rough but that was undetectable to anyone watching.

The teams then mounted their brooms, launching into the air.

It was several hours into the game, the snitch was being stubborn. Ravenclaw was in the lead with 320 points, Gryffindor with only 250. It was then that Jasmine spotted the snitch far above the pitch and she sped towards it, determined to get it.

James too saw it as her watched her go for it, then quickly following behind her. It was easy for him to catch up, his broom being much faster. The announcer talked on about them both being close, but James ignored it, focusing on the snitch.

Jasmine saw as James came up in her peripheral vision, his broom was much faster than hers. They both stuck their arms out for the snitch as James kept getting closer. This was when Jasmine used the strategy she had been practicing all year and over the previous summer.

She used the force in her arms to launch herself off the broom crossing her legs at the ankles. She smirked at James' shocked face as her hand closed around the snitch. She missed landing on her broom and went into free fall. She wasn't worried though, he crossed ankles had kept the broom close to her. As she rapidly neared the ground she gripped the broom, pulling herself back onto her broom and pulling up metres from the ground, the entire stadium breathed a sigh of relief (well everyone but the Slytherins). The game was ended, Ravenclaw on 470 points, sadly they wouldn't be anywhere near that lucky for the rest of the season.
