Tekara's POV

Almost instantly I heard two voices talk in my head, one I thought I will never hear again, and one full of anger and hatred.

Ezra.

Tekara.

I can't make the choice for you, Ezra, but I have a feeling you know which way I would want you to go.

Tekara, that girl is nothing.

I know you think you can't but you can, even though the consequences might be deadly.

Kill her. Kill her now, or I will track you both down and give her a slow, painful death and you can do nothing but watch.

Ezra, you've been fighting the Empire most of your life what difference does it make if you start to fight it again they were always after us.

I sense your conflict young apprentice, search your feeling you know which way to go.

Ezra, I love you. After those words I felt Vader leave my head.

I love you too Kanan. I told him back unsure he could even hear it.

I know you always did. I heard my Master say and he left my head once again, I then opened my eyes and Sabine looked at me eyes full of tears, she seemed scared, happy and sad all at the same time.

"Ezra is still here Sabine." I said and she began to cry more.

Kill her. A part of me whispered. You have too.

"But...... Tekara is too." I said. "I don't know what to do, if I stay here I'm sure to hurt you, if I leave I'll hurt you even more."

"Ezra, stay." She said. "I don't care if you hurt me, we'll get though this."

"But thanks to me, I have no Jedi master left, they are all gone." I said. "I don't know how long I will last till Tekara takes over and I ruin our lives again."

"Maybe they are not all gone, Ahsoka wasn't even though she wasn't a Jedi or a sith, she still trained in the temple and survived." She said.

"Now I see why she left the order, she couldn't be a Jedi anymore, she couldn't carry that burden, but she wanted to help the rebellion, fight the Empire." I said.

"Ezra please don't go." She said, drying her tears.

"I won't.......... I can't, Sabine. Maybe that's you in front of me or just being trapped in a  cell. I can't leave you again Sabine." I said and felt tears running down my cheeks. "Being safe without you is worst than being with you with a death threat from the most feared man in the galaxy."

She looked at me.

"But I can't be free, I have to stay here locked up, I don't want to hurt you." I said and she looked me in my eyes.

"Ezra Bridger you would never hurt me. I'll do what it takes to kill Tekara." She said and pulled me into a hug.

"Sabine but he'll always be apart of me, just like Ezra which I could never seem to kill that loth rat." I said, my head on her shoulder, my arms around her back.

"I'll stay." I said as if reminding myself of a promise.

"Thank you that is all I've ever wanted." She said and we both couldn't hold out tears any longer, we embraced each other pouring out our tears.

I was finally able to dry my tears as I wiped them from my face I wiped them from Sabine's too, I let go of her.

"You're not the only one I missed Sabine." I told her.

"I know, I know." She said as I saw the door open and Hera walk in with Zeb both with tears forming in their eyes.

"Ezra." Hera said and pulled me into a hug.

"Hera." I told her back and felt good to be in my space mom's arms again.

I saw out of my corner of my eye Chopper rolled up and he managed to squeeze himself between the two of us.

"Chopper you rust bucket, come here." I said and hit him on the head and he beeped protest.

"That's what you get." I said and laughed.

"I'm glad we finally have you back." Hera said, I looked at Zeb.

"I'm not really good with all of this sappy stuff, kid." He said and I pulled yet another one of the Ghost crew into my arms.

"Hey!" He said as I squeezed him.

"You're not the muscle anymore Zeb." I laughed and let him go.

"Yes I guess you did get a little bit stronger." He said and I smiled.

This feels good, I'll be hard but right now. I looked around. This feels good.

"So what did I miss?" I asked and they laughed.

"A whole bunch Ezra." Zeb said.

"Let's go sit down and we'll give you the short version of the longer version." Hera said and we walked to a room with a few couches in it on the command ship.

I sat down Sabine sat next to me and Hera and Zeb took the couch across us. Hera began to tell me with multiple interruptions from the other two what they had been up to for the past three years. Finally after all of that was done.

"Let's head back to the Ghost." Sabine said getting up.

"I'll come for a second to check on everything then I'll come right back." Hera told us as all of them got up.

"Come on Ezra." Sabine said and smiled, she put out her hand to help me up when something inside of me took over.

"My name is not Ezra!" Something deep inside of me yelled out.

"Ez-" Sabine stated and was cut off as she rose from the ground, choaking.

All I could do was stand helpless and watch as my hand rose more, chocking the life out of her.

You can't do this, she loves you. You don't love her.

"Ezra stop!" Hera yelled but I couldn't, something inside me didn't want to stop.

I saw Sabine's eyes roll back as she went limp, I let her go and she hit the floor.

What have I done? I felt my eyes glow yellow and I too collapsed next to Sabine and met the depressing world of darkness.
