Chapter 6: What I really am

I wake up in the morning and I go in my room to see if Athena was ok. Guess what? She wasn't there, but there was a note. It said to meet her at the pier at night. This might be a trap, but I beat her once already. I can beat her again. I lied down on my bed and just slept. When I woke up, it was evening. I decided to throw on some clothes and take a walk down the pier. When I was walking down the park, I saw Kusunagi and Erica together at the park. I walk up to both of them.

"Well,well. Is this a date?" I ask, smirking.

"Oh, it's you Kaze. I haven't heard of you since the battle with Athena. You alright" Kusunagi says.

"I'm alright, though I do feel an uneasy presence. Look out around town for suspicious activity ok?" I ask.

"Alright Kaze" Kusunagi says.

That was weird. I feel like someone I know is here, in Japan. And I feel as if my sword is with him as well. Could he be....? I can't confirm it until I see him. I say bye to the Kusunagi and Erica and I walked to the pier. By the time it was night, I arrived there. I saw Athena still with her Gorgoneion somehow.

"How do you still have the Gorgoneion" I ask, while walking towards her.

"It's a part of me so I won't release it" She says blankly.

I walked up to her until we were feet from eachother.

"Why have you summoned me here" I ask.

"I think it's time you know the truth about yourself" She says.

"The.....truth about myself?" I ask.

"Indeed. You are a god of war, but you never accepted that" she says.

"I didn't accept that because it was bullshit" I say, irritated.

"But, you are a god of war, like it or not. Also,you were a god of darkness as well. You contain darkness within you and you also bear the serpent" she says.

I already know most of these things, so why is she telling me this.

"Why're you telling me this" I ask.

"Because. You have another side of you. A dark side. You have a form of which no one can defeat, but yourself. And it's all because of your own powers. I can try to stop you when that happens, but that's only if you let me" She says.

"Do what you can to prevent this from happening. I don't want to destroy Japan" I say.

"If you say so" she says and she turns around and looks at the water

Something was troubling her. I can tell from her expression. I walk up to her side, but she doesn't face me.

"What's the matter. You felt a presence of someone right" I say and she turns to look at me.

"You feel it too" she says.

"Yeah, but I don't know who it is at all" I say.

"Well see if we encounter him. Anyway, do you mind if I stay at your house for a while" Athena says, which surprised me.

"You? Stay here? That's surprising, but you can stay at my house" I say ,smiling.

"Thanks" she says.

"Anytime" I say and I walk home.

Looks like Athena was gonna stay here for a while. The question is, how do I tell everyone else about this.....
