Chapter 18: Kaze, The God of Swords

Aeon did 3 blade beams, which was deflected by Kusunagi's golden sword. I rushed at Aeon, which let his guard down at a very opportune time. One of my flying swords hit Aron in the chest and went through him. Aeon stepped back3 steps and later looked at his chest.

"I guess I underestimated you guys. Now, I'll be serious" Aeon says and he charges power.

Shit, now or never!! I summon Masamune and Red Eagle and I rub them together. I read this in an ancient book when if you rub 2 swords with the almost exact same rating, I can combine both if them. It seemed to be working. The swords began to glow and come together. When that glow vanished, I saw Fire and Darkness combined into one sword. I'll call it the Masaeagle. The blade was silver, while the grip was red like crimson.

"I can't believe you had time to do that" Athena says furious.

"It's either now or never" I say and I slowly put Masaeagle my holster.

With swiftness, I slashed the sword in the air, and everyone sees blood from Aeon' chest and back like a blade beam came from my sword. Aeon fell down to the ground, coughing up blood.

"How.....I thought your powers was reduced to half" Aeon says.

"It is. Its just I'm that strong" I say and I walk up to Aeon.

"You think you won, huh?" Aeon says smirking.

"I think I did. If you come back, I'll open another can of whoop ass and fuck you up again" I say furiously

"Sure. Quick question, What are you" Aeon says.

"I am Kaze Tesuga, the God of Swords" I say in a declaring voice.

"Interesting. Now, let me get back inside you. If you need any help, call on me, but your powers will be reduced to half." Aeon says and he phases inside me.

Well, that was easy. I beat him awfully too easy for this to be the end of the road. Aeon was pretty weak, but challenges awaits me and I shall give them a warm ass welcome.

"Since when did you sound declaring" Athena says, laughing a little bit.

"I've always had. But I'm sure you don't remember because I beat you badly" I say.

"Watch Kaze, it won't be long before I attempt to end the world again" Athena says, with a evil laugh.

"When the day that comes, I'll be ready to stop you" I say in a serious tone.

"We'll see Kaze" Athena says and she teleports out of here.

"Yeah Kaze, I'll see you soon" Kusunagi says and he walks away.

Luna was out of the question because she left a long time ago to probably sleep again. Whew, At least I beat my dark self easily. But all I know is that my next challenges won't be easy.

A/N: This won't be the last chapter of The God of Swords. Kaze's legacy will continue throughout the chapters. Anyway, I hope.you enjoy the series so far and I will A,B, Cya.
