I didn't think much of rainy days. Seeing as that it was just another day. It didn't really bother me.

I did love the weather though. Slightly windy and cold. Although it would get humid after awhile. But I guess there are pros and cons to things that you can't control too.

I took an umbrella with me as I left the house. There wasn't much to look forward to today.

Not like any other day would've been any different. Different day, same boring things.

I walked to school with my phone in my pocket. I chose not to listen to music today, wanting to enjoy my surroundings more.

I guess my thoughts have made me unaware of how things looked. I walked slower than I usually would as I hummed to myself.

The umbrella served its purpose although it was quite the burden as well.

I reached school and put my umbrella into one of those plastic wraps they provided. Except, it was a smaller version because my umbrella was miniature.

I went over to the classroom where everyone else was.

Usually, everybody would be out in the courtyard or basketball court but I guess the rain forced everyone into the classrooms.

I sat down in my seat and grabbed a jacket that I kept under my desk, putting it on. I smiled at the warmth.

Thank you, past Lia.

I put my umbrella to the side and hung my bag on the hook.

Jackson, BamBam and Mark were by the window. They were sitting on the floor for some reason.

I folded my arms to cushion my face, taking this as an opportunity to sleep.

•• •• •• •• ••

"Lia. Class starts in 5 minutes." A familiar voice says, as they shake me gently.

I open my eyes and the sunlight shining through the windows hit my face immediately. I sit up and nod, shooing off the person who woke me up.

I stretch out my arms and legs before pulling out my books unto my desk.

"Didn't catch enough sleep huh?" Jackson asks. I shook my head as I let out a yawn.

"Here." BamBam hands me some sour candy. "It helps keep you awake." I take it from him, thanking him as I pop it into my mouth.

I cover my face, as the sour taste starts engraving itself into my taste buds. My mouth begins watering and I groan.

I pull water out from my bag, taking a quick sip before returning it into my bag.

Just then, a different teacher steps in.

Apparently, our teacher was stuck in traffic. So our classes were temporarily down.

The teacher allowed for us to do whatever we want, as long as we weren't noisy and we didn't break school rules.

I looked out the window and couldn't help but smile.

It would be amazing to be curled up in my blanket, asleep. I would love for that to happen.

I sighed and pressed my cheek against my desk again, my arms spread out on my desk.

I wonder if Mom's home. Maybe Dad's home. I wonder if either of them are thinking of me.

"Go to your room, Melia." My Mom said as she rubbed her temples in frustration. I would go to my room and lean against the door, trying to listen to what my Mom would do.
