I stood there, wide eyed unsure of what I should do. I felt him place his chin on the top of my head as he wrapping his arms around my shoulders.

"I wanted to talk." He says quietly. "What about?" I asked, wanting to tilt my head up to look at him. "D-Don't look at me.. I won't be able to focus on what I'm trying to say." He says, holding me closer. I felt my cheeks flush.

Okay, now I'm nervous.

"I don't know what I'm trying to say. So i'll just explain things to you." He tells me. I could hear Mark's heartbeat and it calmed me down a little.

"At first, I have to admit that you caught my eye. You were zoning out in the courtyard even though you were among your friends who were extremely hyper." He says, letting out a small chuckle.

"You were soft-spoken but when you did speak, the words that came out of your mouth seemed so beautiful." He says, loosening his embrace.

I stood there, motionless as I listened to the things he was saying.

"You had your little world of thoughts. You zoned out during conversations. You don't have the best background but you remain patient." He pulls away slightly, one arm still around me.

I furrow my eyebrows as he touches in between my brows.

"There's this subtle crease that forms here when you get confused." He says, a small smile growing on his face.

"You bite gently on the inside of your cheeks when you're trying to stay happy." He says as he strokes my cheek.

I look down and bite down on my bottom lip, avoiding his gaze.

He tilts my head up and smiles, his eyes dropping to them.

"You bite your lip when your shy." He says, softly hitting my bottom lip which I let go of.

"I pay attention to every beautiful detail that comes along with you. You're so mysterious and quiet that all these small things suffice for the times when I'm not around you." He tells me, his eyes lifting themselves up to mine, locking with each other.

"You make me happy. I like that about you." He says, giving me a smile.

I carefully put the books that were on my table, into my bag. Unfortunately, school was postponed to 2pm today.

I didn't even know that there was such a thing. I just thought of school as an early start and a late end. Apparently, it's late either way.

I started walking with my hands in pockets. I didn't like that it was windy today although I wouldn't have minded if it were another day.

I don't know, I guess you could say that I'm a little frustrated because I haven't eaten all day. And on top of that, School is going to end at about 8 in the evening.

6 hours.

I know. School days are usually longer than that. But that's beside the point.

I entered my classroom, taking the hood of my jacket off my head. Once I sat down, Jackson turns over to me with a huge smile on his face.

"What?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.

He frowns a little at my tone, which I make up for with a small apologetic smile. "You're wearing Mark's beanie."

He was right. It's a little knitted grey beanie that had a small 'M' on it. I've always loved beanies. They were casual and they kept my head warm. This was convenient because I wouldn't get my usual headaches that much.
