Calming Flames

Finding Out

Harry was comforting Ron in the Great Hall, looking around for Hermione. "Hey, have you seen Hermione?" He looks over at Ginny who shakes her head, then to Luna an Neville, "Sorry Harry." They say no unison.

Ron looks concerned, "Check the map" he mumbles and continues to stuff his mouth. Ginny scoffs and kisses Harry, whispering softly to him and walking off. Harry looks down and and whispers,"I solemnly swear I'm up to no good." The ink appears and and he looks around for Hermione and Draco's  location.

"Hey Ron, their-their not on here." Harry says concerned. Ron looks up and says, "Room of Requirement?" He says puzzled. Harry looks up and his face lit up. "Let's go" he grabs his hand and runs over to where the door appeared when they were in Dumbledore's army.

Hermione was forced to stand up and Lavender walks up. "So... You broke up with Won-Won for that piece of snake trash?" She says maliciously. Hermione looks up and and her face forms a wide grin, she starts to laugh. "Why are you laughing?" She looks confused and her hand reaches for her wand.

"I knew you were going to ask me that. Why you ask? Well it was because I wasn't feeling the same way as he did... And I was already sneaking off with Draco at that point..." Her voice fades and so does the smile. Then the door opens, "Stop it Lavender." A familiar voice said with his wand pointed up at her she saw Harry and Ron. Hermione smiles and sees Draco appear from the door awell, she starts to cry and sobs into his shoulder as he was untying her hands.

Lavender looks shocked, "Wh-what? How did you find me?" Her face full of fear.

"You think your the only one who know of this place?" Harry retorts

"It's a disappearing door, yes I thought I was the only one." She looks down at her feet.

Draco comes behind her and ties her hand down and snatches her wand. They walked her out of the room where Filtch was, he was waiting there at the boys request to take Lavender to the dungeons. Of course he lived that idea and happily accepted the offer.

Filtch gladly takes her wrist and runs to the dungeons, pulling her along. Draco smothers Hermione and whispers quickly in her ear. She nods and kisses him.

"Ugh, I come and save you and your snogging a snake... Your welcome Hermione." Ron walks off, Hermione runs to him and hugs his back. "Thank you... How'd you find out about the Room of Requirement?" She asks.

Well Lavender had been looking at you for a while after people started finding out about the break-up." He said. "I assumed that if she were to do this it wouldn't be off of school grounds like Hogsmead. I thought about The Shrieking Shack but Lavender hated that place." He finishes and looks up at Hermione and Draco. Hermione had a puzzled face. "So you knew? You knew that we were here?" She said raising her voice. "Did you plan this?" She turns around and puts an arm on Draco.

'I didn't plan it, I just knew of the plan... I don't know what to say.' Ron thought looking over at Harry whose eyes were wide. Draco had broken ribs and Hermione had a large, purple bruise on her cheek.

"I kn-knew of it..." Ron said quietly."Lavender sent an owl to me, and it said that if I wanted to help, that she'd be here. I'm so sorry Hermione. But you and Malfoy have been hanging out the whole time and I was pissed off at you... And at him." Ron points to Malfoy and looks at Hermione.

Her mouth was wide and her eyes full of tears. "How dare you, you can't tell me that you thought it was right to keep it from me..." She hugs Draco tighter and looks angrily at Ron. She scoffs and walks past him with Draco holding her hand.
