You tiredly walked out of the house, Shawn's arm pulling you close to his side, half your weight leaning on him. You were wrapped in his large sweatshirt, the sleeves flopping around being to long past your hands. You felt him looking down at you as you tilted your head to lean on his side, a small smile spread across your face. The loud music dissipated as you got closer to the car that was waiting for you. Shawn climbed into the back seat of the car as you slid in after him. You had a pretty long drive home and thank fully one of your friends is driving you home. You sat down and realized how tired you really were, you felt drained. Shawn's arm was around your shoulder as you rested your head and tangled pony tail on his. You felt both of his strong arms wrap around your body and gently place you in his lap, you let out a small yawn and looked up at Shawn. You felt warm and safe, his large loving arms protecting you. You looked up at him as he looked down at you. His face disappearing and reappearing as you moved under the street lights, his smooth skin glowing in the light. You slowly blinked a few times as he whispered "get some rest love, we have a long way home". You closed your eyes, leaning your head back against the window, Shawn continues to whisper sweet nothings into your ear, his warm breath tickling the side of your face. His broad fingers played with your hair, slowly twisting little pieces and letting them fall free, sending chills radiating through your body. You felt him looking at you, you felt the admiration he had when he looked at you, you felt so lucky to have him.
After a while your brain slowed down, the bumps from the car got lighter, shawn's light whispers and finger twirling stopped, you felt at ease. Suddenly you felt Shawn's large hand come to the side of your head as he slowly pulled you closer to his chest. You snuggled closer to him, his scent filling your nose. Curled up, you wondered if he were asleep, you slowly peeked up to see his eye lids half open, his head falling uncomfortably to the side. You looked at his ruffled up hair, the cutest curls lightly dipping on his forehead, a small cowlick on the back of his head. You curled back up, your head against his heart, each beat getting slower and more steady as he himself fell into a deeper sleep. Soon everything was dark.
You felt the car come to a stop as you peaked your eye open, your friend, who drove, tapped on shawn's forearm to wake him. His eyes slowly opened as he awoke. He remembered you on his lap and he smiled, he leaned down an gave the top of your head a light kiss. You climbed out of the car as he pulled you in closer to him. You thanked your friend and said your goodbyes. You walked into your home wrapped in shawn's warmth.
