You were taking a walk down your cities local beach, one of the most iconic beaches in the world, Bondi Beach. You watched all the activities on the beach as you passed by, the cold water splashing at your feet and then rushing back into the ocean. As your eyes bounced from person to person enjoying the sun, your eyes landed on a group of guys, who looked all too familiar, playing soccer. You knew your favorite singer was in town, you were going to his show the next day, but could that really be him and his crew? You got a better look and yes, it was positively them. You've had day dreams of this happening, was this actually happening? You've made an oath to yourself to stay chill like a normal human, (even if you were screaming on the inside), if you ever happened to stumble upon him, and thankfully thats exactly what you did.

You walked by and said "Hey Shawn". He looked up, and upon seeing a girl, assuming you were a fan, he looked slightly irritated to be interrupted. "hope your enjoying Australia " you said as you continued to walk past him. "Geoff and Mike, you too" you say almost past them as all 3 of them look puzzled. "see you guys tomorrow night" you said over your shoulder.

You turned around looking forward, smiling because you were quite proud of yourself for keeping it together, and you just to Shawn Mendes. (shirtless to top it off). Your thoughts were interrupted with running footsteps splashing in the wet sand and that oh-so familiar voice behind you. "Hey! Wait!"

You turn around to see Shawn, wet salty curls bouncing on his forehead, his eyes bright, and a grin covering his face.

"hi...?" you ask slightly confused on why he ran up to you. You looked over his shoulder to see Geoff, Andrew, Mike, and Dave all looking at you with the same confusion.

   "Hi" he said enthusiastically. "you know who I am?" he continued.

   "um yeah...? who doesn't?"

He chuckled at your response, making you want to melt. "How come you didn't like...freak out like most people, you don't want a picture?"  he asked, not conceded, but genuinely confused from this rare encounter.

   "Well of course you're great, but you are a human, I want you to have fun in Australia, not get bombarded by annoyingness"

   "Wow thats really sweet of you" he glowed.

     "Of course, anytime" you joke as he laughs back in return. "I'm seeing you tomorrow night, I can't wait!" you say as he runs his hand through his sloppy hair, pulling it off his face. "Anyway, I hope your enjoying it here, go back and have fun"

He nods "oh I didn't catch your name" you blush wondering why he cares. "Y/N" you say. "Nice to meet you, see ya around" he said as you two begin to turn around and go your own ways.

   "Oh, Shawn?" you pipe up, he turns around and smiles at you "yeah?" he calls back. "Don't forget to put sunscreen on, we all know how pale you are" you joke as he throws his head back in laughter, the most beautiful sound resinating through your ears. His face perks up with an idea "wait, I'm on it" he says as he runs back to his stuff. He whips out a dark green bowl hat, plopping it on his head. You exchange thumbs up as you turn around and continue down the beach, your smile never falling from your face.
