Veral looked at his cousin confused "what do you mean?" He asked, he paced in a quick circle.
"What I mean is that Laria was murdered!" Riola snapped back to her sibling. Veral looked as confused as ever.

"How do you kn-" he was cut off by Riola who impatiently snarled,

"Veral! You don't understand I saw her! She was with the spirits, she didn't say how she died but I just feel it." She said closing her eyes, Veral stopped moving and sat next to his cousin.
"You blame yourself don't you?" He asked sadness filling his voice. Riola shook her head,

"Of course I do, someday I'm going to be a chief and I can't let this slip away, my tribe needs me now to find whoever did this and stop them!" She snarled running towards the camp entrance.

"Whoa! Riola! Where are you going?!" Veral snapped. Riola spun around and hissed. "You have no idea what we could be dealing with here, take a second and think about what you're going to do next, then do it reasonably." Veral calmly said.
"I hate it when you're right." Riola mumbled sitting down. She sat down and shook her head. "Then what is your plan?" She asked Veral, he looked away and thought for a little.

"I got nothing." he admitted, "but we should probably take this to father he might know what to do." Veral suggested, he stood up without a response and trotted over to Chief's den.

"wait, Veral! We can think of another plan!" She wanted to solve this on her own and was determined to do so. Riola sat down thinking hard and watched Morra run around. "Morra come here I need some help!" She called out to her friend, Morra trotted over happily, her smile disappearing as she saw Riola's determined look.

"You're planning something, you have that look again." She commented sitting down. Riola smiled and swept her tail around laying it across her paws,

"you know me to well Morra." Riola smiled, "but seriously i need your help with this,  its important." Riola said narrowing her eyes.

"Ohhh, Chief Riola is on the trail of something." Morra replied rolling her eyes, Riola grunted and flicked an ear.

"Ha ha very funny, please Morra you need to take this seriously." Riola said.

"Well i cant help you if you dont tell me what you need help with." Morra commented, Riola growled impatiently.

"I was getting to that!" Riola snapped, Morra looked down hiding a smile.

"Careful, chiefs have to learn how to control their tepmper to lead succesfully." Morra teased,

"UGHHHHH Morra seriosuly! If you wont help ill find someone who will!" Riola snarled standing up, her fur bristling, she flicked her tail and started pacing. "Ok listen, i beleive Laria was murdered." Riola started,

"how do you know she has not been found she could still be alive" Morra pointed out.

"Shush! i was getting to that. Last night-"

       "Riola?" Morra interrupted

"Morra please!" Riola snapped then continued on, "I saw Laria's spirit, I swear it was her!-

    "Riola!"

"WHAT IS IT MORRA?!" Riola turned on her friend, Morra noddded behind at something behind her friends back. Riola turned and saw large and strange creatures standing at the camp entrance. Riola looked them up and down they had a strange alost hyena look but with longer legs and large fangs that curved down from the jaw, most were a dark brown colored with shaggy fur and wild eyes. Riola's eyes  as the one in front dropped something on the ground smiling, Ryler let out a wail when she saw that the strange mutilated lump on the ground was the body of the pup, Laria
