Mike took a brief moment with himself thinking about the time he read the letter for the first time in the hospital. Thinking about how his son suddenly came back to life when he read what's written inside the letter.
Mike thought he was the cause of all of this.
He thought he did it.
"What should we do?", Mike asked, breaking his terrible line of thoughts. He didn't even want to think about that he was the cause of all this.
"We'll wait for a while to see what will happen", Father John replied coldly. He started heading out of the attic.
The wooden floor skreek-ed beneath his feet. It almost seemed like it was about to break in any second.
"But Father", Mike started. "You told me that we should move fast before the demon gets any more powerful, and now you're telling me that we have to wait for a while?".
Mike did have a point. Father John didn't make sense.
But still, Father John did know what he was doing.
"I'm afraid that that already happened", the priest replied as a shiver of fear ran down his back.
"What?", Raimonda asked in horror. She was totally lost. "What's going on around here?".
"We're not sure yet", Father John calmed down Raimonda.
"Uh guys", Daniel interrupted. "Did you forget about Liam and the fact that he's somewhere in the house?".
Everyone actually forgot about that, but they were busy with something more important. That something was dealing with what's inside Liam.
They have to rescue Liam, but how? And when?
Before anyone could take any sudden steps, they all heard an evil, wicked laugh of a woman coming from downstairs. A laugh that sounds like the witches in the movies.
"What was that?", Christina asked. She ran directly to her father and hid behind him. She sank her nails in his legs.
The witch repeated the laugh. This time it was even louder and more scarier.
"That's Dorothy", Father John said. "She's up to something".
"Kids, stay here", Mike ordered. He got out of the attic and headed toward the hallway. The priest and Raimonda then followed him.
Mike stood in shock to see that nothing was wrong. There was no sign of Dorothy, but there was something weird.
He saw a picture that was upside down on the ground. He went there to check it out. Mike held it up in his hand and flipped it and gasped.
It was the family photo that was taken a few years ago. But the glass was cracked on his and Daniel's spot as if someone meant to crack it right there.
"What is this supposed to mean?", Mike asked himself as he was staring at the cracked family photo.
"This was broken on purpose", the priest told Mike. "This is a message from her".
Raimonda turned around and faced Father John. "Who's her and why did she break our family photo?".
"Her. Dorothy. Don't you know?", the priest asked.
"Who's Dorothy?", Raimonda asked as she entered the wheel of confusion all over again. "And what should I know?".
"Dorothy Swan is the biggest witch and the most demonic witch the world has ever known", Father John replied. "She had a church that she used to summon demons in it but she died during a terrible mistake in her last demon sacrificing".
