"You go inside, I'll watch the perimeter," (Y/n) commanded them. "It's the best way to get Yukki out."

"But what if Yuno comes out here? You'll be all by yourself," Hinata spoke up, talking to (Y/n) for the first time. "Can you handle that?"

"Bich," (Y/n) pulled the two guns she had stashed on her belt out and twirled them before holding them up towards the sky. "I got two pistols, ain't nobody killing me today."

Hinata blinked, stunned and confused, then turned towards the building. "Alright then. We should split up once we get into there."

"No," Akise said. "She might want us to do that. We're better together."

Hinata grumpled, and she and Akise did rock-paper-scissors to see who's idea would be chosen. Akise won. All three rounds. He stuck out his tongue at Hinata, and they all said goodbye to (Y/n) and walked into the building. They were gone, and (Y/n)'s gun was cocked, ready to shoot down anything with the slightest movement.

But the wind picked up, making an eerie feeling as the leaves rustled and tumbles across the ground. (Y/n) was on edge. She pulled out her phone, but it was blank. 'DEAD END' spread across the bottom of the screen, and she grew even more weary knowing that one wrong move could cause her misfortunate demise. Her gaze hovered around the space in front of her as she back up to the wall, she looked up at the window above her, and looked at her phone again.

In a matter of minutes, I've been stalked and am about to die, she thought to herself. The dead end had moved itself down three entries, and (Y/n) moved inside the building. She tucked away her phone when the dead end disappeared, and started wandering the halls. She would have called out for Akise, but since she couldn't yell out and not attract trouble, and since she wasn't sure what the thing that caused the dead end was, she stayed quiet and walked around with her guns out. Yuno knew who she was, and it wasn't safe to not have weapons drawn, even though nobody else was as prepared as she was.

She tiptoed around a corner and pulled out her gun when she saw a moving figure walking, but relaxed when it was only Hinata.

"Hinata!" (Y/n) called out, putting her hands up because Hinata was the only other person with a lethal weapon, another gun, the same as (Y/n)'s, and she automatically pointed it at (Y/n), but it too slackers at her side.

"I thought you were outside?" Hinata asked.

"My diary said 'DEAD END'. I was going to die if I stayed out any longer," (Y/n) replied. "Hope you understand."

"Of coarse!" Hinata put a hand on (Y/n)'s shoulder. "I wouldn't want you dead, would I? Akise wouldn't be very happy."

At the mention of Akise's name, (Y/n) uncontrollably blushed, and stuttered as she said, "Yeah, well, anyways, we should continue to look for Yukki."

Hinata laughed and slapped (Y/n) on the back in a friendly manner. "You're a scream, (Y/n). Let's get going."

They walked down the broken corridors, watching each other's backs, and pointing their weapons at every open door. They talked little, but both of them knew their bond was growing. They stayed like that, silently prowling, for around fifteen minutes.

Hearing something roll across the floor in a room to her right, Hinata pushed open the door with the muzzle of her weapon. A large cloud of light yellow gas came tumbling around them, suffocating them as they tried to run away, but the gas followed them, and they couldn't breath. Hinata fell to the ground first, quickly followed by (Y/n).

One tall, shapely figure stood above their bodies, a gas mask obscuring their eyes. They tilted their head down and the fog cleared slightly, revealing two glinting pink eyes as they glared upon the bodies of the two girls in front of them.
