Akise helped around their house that day, and (Y/n) tried awfully hard to avoid him. If he was in the kitchen, she was in the family room, if he was in the dining room, she was in the kitchen, if he was in the family room, she was in the dining room, and so on. At one point, he was litterally chasing her around in a circle.
Vain had woken up many times during that day, and had tried to come downstairs, but she had failed at that. Akise or (Y/n) always ushered her back up the steps. Akise started to get too persistent with following (Y/n), and she decided to GTFO and ran into town. He followed her there too.

Akise POV

"(Y/n)!" Akise chased her into town as she pushed past people to get away from him. "(Y/n)! (Y/n), wait up!"It probably looked super weird to passerby that two young kids were frolicking through public together, but Akise didn't care. This little bitch. Running off whenever her best friend could be dying? Who did she think she was?
Akise wadded through the throng of people as he chased after his love-
He stopped his thought, and stopped running. What was he thinking about? Was he just about to call (Y/n) his lover? No, he decided, you're supposed to be the homosexual supporting cast that all of the fangirls screech over, and they can't really screech if he has a woman, right?
What a silly notion, pfft, him falling for (Y/n). What a funny little fanfiction.
He pushed these thoughts aside and decided he had lost too much time. He started running again until she came into view. He pumped his arms faster until he was just up on her, and he grabbed her arm, but he tripped, and ended up tackling her to the ground, a giant mess of trash piled on trash.
"Owwwww!" (Y/n) yelped, pushing him off of her and rubbing her knee. "You totally skinned my knee!"
"(Y/n)," Akise sat up in a daze. He shook himself, "(Y/n), Vain might be dying and you left her. We need to get back to her."
"Then why'd you come after me?!" (Y/n) screamed at him. They had drawn a crowd, and both of their eyes flickered around the people surrounding them. Akise stood up, and helped her up. They stared at each other.
Suddenly, Akise pulled on her arm and was shoving past civilians, running back to Vain's house. (Y/n) could hardly keep up behind him, and stumbled contineuously.

Vain was up and out of bed. Actually, she was standing right next to the door tapping her foot impatiently on the ground. Her bad leg, at that. When they saw her, Akise and (Y/n) jumped."The hell are you doing out of bed?!" They screamed simultaneously. Unfazed, Vain pointed behind her at the dinner table.
"Made some food," she said with little guilt, and (Y/n) and Akise ran over to the table, quickly eating, without saying grace or anything like that, because frankly, Dues was the only real god, and he was a complete douche.
They were halfway through their meal whenever Vain finally decided to join them, sitting down without wincing. Even then she didn't start to eat, and watched them through pale eyes as they devoured what had taken her hours in a matter of seconds. She sighed, disappointed.
"Where were you two? I hope you weren't in some hotel doing drugs and having-," Vain started.
"Don't even finish that sentance, goodness' sake Vain, there are probably eleven year olds reading this right now," Akise said through a mouthful of food.
"Reading what?" (Y/n) asked.
"I don't know," Akise replied. They shrugged it off and went back to eating. They had finished, and were finally scolding Vain for getting out of bed while she was still resting, when Akise's phone buzzed.
