Hey guys, so I appreciate you reading this story. It may start out slow, but hopefully you can read past that, as it will eventually become a medium-paced romance, with plenty of funny or romantic scenes!
Another thing I'd like to say is that I appreciate all your votes, comments and fannings. It might seem like your opinion and/or support doesn't make a difference, but believe me, it does.
The beautiful woman in the picture towards the right is the stunning model 'Melanie Iglesias'. She is playing my main character Isabelle in the story. That's how I picture my main character, but if it doesn't suit somebody's interests, then you're allowed to ignore the image and continue to think of her however you like, using your imagination!
Chapter One
"He's sooo hot," Melanie mumbled, as she stared eagerly at Jace. She had to shut her mouth to stop herself from drooling all over her desk. Isabelle rolled her eyes at her obvious lust.
"You look like you're actually in love, which couldn't possibly be true. You, Melanie, could never be in love. There's not even the slightest possibility - and with Jace? The only coherent word that you've said to him - other than your constant babble that you seem to dish out daily - was 'H-h-h-hi', which is barely coherent as it is," Isabelle pointed out.
She leaned over to Melanie's desk to lift her friend up from the position she was at. She didn't want Melanie looking like a fool in front of the whole class. Melanie allowed Isabelle to pick her up from the helpless position she was at.
Melanie turned to her best friend and grinned sheepishly, "I know that I embarrass you, Isabelle. It's not like you'd be caught dead even glancing at somebody as devilishly handsome as Jace. Not that I understand why."
"You wouldn't," Isabelle said simply, with a small smile playing on her cherry red lips. Both Melanie and Isabelle decided to be quiet before they got in trouble with their teacher, so that was the end of their conversation.
Once the bell rang, Isabelle gathered her books and left the classroom after saying goodbye to Melanie, and wishing her luck on her Geography test. She continued to walk down the hallway, seeking the library so she could study for her Geography test.
Jace had sent sideways glances towards Isabelle throughout the period, and he had finally decided that Isabelle was going to be his next prey. She would be perfect too. Not only was she incredibly sexy, but she didn't seem like the sulky type either, so at least she wouldn't whine once he was done with her.
It didn't take long for Isabelle to realise that she wasn't walking alone. She stopped in her steps, and cocked her head to the side at Jace who stopped with her. He was looking over at her with a suggestive look in his eyes. A look that sent tingles through Isabelle's body, but a look she knew was bad.
"Isabelle, isn't it?" Jace asked her, although there was really no need. He knew her name perfectly well. She was a good student and raised her hand in class frequently. Nothing that Jace hadn't dealt with before, though. "You're in a few of my classes. I can't resist staring at you in every single one of them."
"Yes. Nice that you pay enough attention to notice. Now if you'll excuse me," Isabelle muttered, as she stepped around him to walk off to find the library she needed to visit.
Jace's face dropped as soon as she stepped away. His mind filled with confusing thoughts. There was no way he had been rejected by a girl. It had never happened, and everybody knew it never would.
