The guy on the right is the incredibly hot Alex Pettyfer (yes, a cliche choice, but he was too hot to deny), playing my male main character Jace!

                                         Chapter Two

Recap:

Isabelle stood there for a second, shocked at his touch. Jace grinned at her reaction. Her resistance didn't last too long. All girls finally gave in at the end, no matter how tough they acted at the beginning.

Jace leaned in to kiss Isabelle's lips, closing the distance between them. He could feel his lips lingering over hers. Don't do it, Isabelle thought to herself, as she looked at his dangerously close, but delicious looking lips.

Don't do it.

Isabelle wanted to kiss him so bad, more than she had ever wanted to kiss anyone in her life. Jace let his lips linger over hers for a second too late before making his move, giving Isabelle enough time to come to her senses and push him away.

It was just a slight shove on the chest, but it was enough for Jace to realise that she was definitely going to be hard to seduce. But he'd get there.

"Please," Isabelle whispered. Her face was pale, and she felt like her energy had been drained out of her. All of her knowledge had apparently been drained with it.

Jace got up from the table, and looked around the library. No one was around. Good. He didn't want anyone to have seen the horrific scene. I make it sound like I've commited a crime, Jace thought to himself, tugging on his gray shirt.

Isabelle was feeling a lot better, and Jace was feeling a lot worse. "Leave me alone, Jace. Please. Just leave me alone once and for all," Isabelle snapped.

Jace had taken everytime he saw her, as an opportunity. But she didn't like the idea of that at all. Jace was trying to play her, obviously. Like a player always does. He didn't have to make it so obvious though. He had barely said more than a few sentences to her in the whole time they had classes together, and he was trying to kiss her?

"Just don't tell anyone about this. Not even, uh, what's her name?" Jace began, thinking of her chirpy best friend with the red-to-brown hair that was one of the girls who worshipped every step he took. Or at least acted like it.

"Melanie," Isabelle replied sharply, "And uh, fat chance. I tell Melanie everything, and this is just another tick to my book. She'd go completely crazy over the fact that I didn't kiss you, Jace. Not that I care what anyone else thinks. But Melanie's opinion - that's pretty important."

"So Melanie would definitely be interested?" Jace asked her. He didn't really care. He only wanted to prove to himself he could get every girl. He already knew he could get Melanie - so she wasn't as exciting. Isabelle. Isabelle would bring the challenge.

"Dont even lay a finger on her," Isabelle threatened him harshly, "I don't care if your finger has just done a state marathon, and it's puffing and out of breath, I don't want it resting anywhere near Melanie." '

Jace laughed inwardly. Yeah, Melanie was interested. Was Isabelle jealous or protective though? Maybe both. Isabelle knew that Melanie would kill her for chasing away Jace from her side, but it was definitely a good thing.

"Oh, don't worry. I don't care about Melanie. But you, on the other hand. Well, you're going to love me. You can count on that. I haven't figured out what I'm going to do, but you're going to be falling over me by the end of the Summer." Jace replied with ease. Whenever he said this to a girl - which wasn't often at all - it would happen. With Isabelle, he wasn't so sure that any of his plans would work. He was pretty sure, but anything could happen. Jace gave her the perfect opportunity for a kiss, and she turned him down. But he could see in her eyes, she wanted him.

"How much?" Isabelle asked again. She already knew the answer, but it was too hard to believe. She couldn't believe it. She knew Jace wanted to play her, but she didn't know he was that desperate.

"One million." Jace replied. He grinned at Isabelle as her eyes widened with shock. His plan was fool-proof. Of course she was going to love him if they spent a whole Summer alone. She'll come to her senses, and see how much she loves the situation. Not that it doesn't have its benefits for me, Jace thought to himself, grinning. He could just see them making out on the couch fiercely, the waves crashing against the shore in the background. Her moans as he slid his hand up her back and just...

Jace realised he was getting off topic in his head, and shook the thoughts away. It would be better to experience them anyway.

Isabelle blinked as if she thought she was dreaming. "No freakin' way," she muttered. One million dollars? That was enough to pay off the bills. That was enough to pay off Melanie's bills. That was enough to buy cars, for the whole neighbourhood.

"Is that a yes?" He asked her, with a smirk playing on his lips. Of course it was a yes. A smart girl wouldn't turn down one million dollars for the world. She needed the money.

Isabelle sighed. One million dollars.. with a catch. A catch that she'd rather not be included in. "Well, I guess," not that she had a choice. She needed the money, and if this was the only way to get it, then so be it.

"I know, I know. Just don't do anything we wouldn't do," Isabelle's mother told her sternly. Isabelle was 18, and she could make her own choices. They couldn't stop her.

"Trust me, Mom, I'm not even going to talk to him if I can help it," Isabelle replied, wincing at the thought of even 'doing anything' with Jace. He wasn't unattractive, but he was not her style.

"Which is totally stupid," Melanie muttered, looking over at Mary's disapproving look. Isabelle grinned at her. Of course Melanie would think it was stupid, she goes ga-ga for that guy, though Isabelle can't see why. "I mean, he's hooot! Babe, do whatever you want with him, but just don't get your heart broken."

"Agreed." David, Isabelle's father said, looking over at Melanie. Melanie smiled sweetly. It was nice to know that David thought the same way as her. "Don't let him fool you. A boy is a boy. He only wants one thing, and you need to know that."

"One thing I'm not giving him. Not at all. Not even kissing. Not even small talk. Nothing." Isabelle replied. She had her best intentions of ignoring Jace the whole Summer, and claiming the reward at the end.

Melanie helped Isabelle zip up her light blue suitcase, and handed it to her, grinning. Isabelle smiled a very grateful smile, and hugged Melanie extremely hard. A whole 3 months with out seeing her best friend. It would be torture. On top of that, there might not even be signal at the beach house, and that mean they wouldn't even be able to keep in contact.

"Good luck," Melanie whispered in her ear, "Hope you score."

Isabelle let go of Melanie, picked up her suitcase, and walked outside. She said bye to her family and best friend, before stepping outside and going into Jace's car.

"Hello beautiful," Jace whispered in an incredibly deep, sexy voice that made Melanie's knees tremble. She frowned at him. Why did he have such an effect on her? She barely knew him.

"Hi," Melanie whispered nonchantly, as she stepped into the light blue vehicle that matched her suitcase perfectly. She popped her suitcase in the backseat.

"Trust me," he whispered, sneaking in a kiss on her cheek, one that she tried her hardest to pull away from, "We're going to have a lot of fun."
