Chapter 11 : treason

Ten minutes ago...

Janja and the others hyenas were sitting around the fourth crystal, a dark one. Janja, Simania, Nne and Tano, the most powerful hyenas, chose to stand with Scar. They didn't really like eachother, but the ennemi of my ennemi is my friend, so, here they were. Janja wasn't really happy about his choice. He was remembering something who happened in the world of the dead...

"Janja, what are you doing here ?

_Relax, King Simba, I'm here to talk.

_If you don't leave now, I will...

_You will what ? Do I have to remember you we can't hit each other. And, just like I said, I want to talk.

_About what ? asked Simba, still angry.

_Bunga used me, now I realise that. But I'm not here to talk about Bunga, I'm here to talk about the circle of life.

_Everything. I want to know why the hyenas are living in the Outlands, when the lions and other animals leave in the Pridelands.

_Well... The cricle of life is base on sharing with each others, and respect each others. Everyone have his place, and everyone have to respect it. When you said all the hyenas were in the outlands, it's not true. There is some clans of hyenas in the pridelands.

_Really ?

_Yes, they eat the rest of the others. But the problem with the hyenas like you, Janja, is that every time we try to allow the hyenas to go into the Pridelands, there is problems. The biggest one is when your parents served Scar. This created a war.

_I... wasn't thinking about that.

"Hey look ! exclaimed Tano, showing a great explosion. The fight start.

Soon, just three hyenas were sitting around the crystal. Janja was thinking. Really thinking.

And he came to a descision.

A shadow hand came through Nne's body, killing him in one hit. Before Simania could react, she was caught by a shadow arm. The shadow arme was coming from Janja.

"Janja ? Why ? 

_I finally understand that everyone in which I believed used me. Scar, Bunga... So now, I will help the pridelands."

he killed Simania with broking her neck. He took the dark crystal and left.
