Antoine's POV

When I heard the word "end", I couldn't help but feel happy and upset at the same time. Happy because I knew I wanted Marisa more than anything but sad that I know I can't give her everything she'd want and this just wasn't right. There was just this feeling of guilt that ran down deep within myself.

"Marisa, wait!" I shout, before she was about to leave the room.

I then rush over to her, my body just feeling all tingly and my heart beating faster than ever.

"You don't have to feel like this." I say breathing heavily, the words coming out very fast.

She just stood there with a confused look on her face.

"What do you mean?"

"I don't want you to argue now. You won't feel any great and Cris-"

"I know Cris. He's my brother and he wants the best for me." She states.

"Yes and I want the same because I lo-"

"I care about you okay." I add right after. I wanted to punch myself, what on earth was I going on to say?

"All I need from you is your support. What a good friend does and you've always given me that. Stop freaking out silly. Now if you excuse me, I'm going to talk to Sergio." She mentions, walking out.

♔ Marisa's POV ♔

I left Antoine in the room and marched downstairs, to find Cristiano reading a book and little Cris asleep but there was no sight of Sergio. Had he left?

I couldn't help but wonder if I should tell Cristiano but I didn't want him to hate me. So I silently walked out of the house to find Sergio just about to leave. There was this sudden anger building up inside me, the feeling of betrayal and false love.

"Sergio!" I shout from behind, pacing down the steps over to him.

"Marisa." He says, smiling at me with a cheeky grin on his face.

"Sergio. I want to ask you something and I want to hear the truth." I mumble, my facial expressions making it very clear I had something important to say.

Sergio just crosses his arms and replies, "Yeah, what is it?"

I hesitated at first but I finally let out my feelings.

"What happened during the weeks I left? Be honest Sergio." I mumble, my arms crossed.

Sergio looks confused, his eyes looking at mine wondering what to say.

"I-I don't get what you mean. N-nothing. It's been normal, with training and everything."

"Is that it?" I ask.

"Yeah.." He mumbles, his face now looking annoyed.

"I knew it. You can't even tell me the truth can you?" I snap at him. At this point anger was just fuelled up inside me.

"What about that girl you was with? What about when you held her hand? Or what about when you both kissed?!" I shouted. My eyes even began to get all watery and I had to hold them in.

"What? What the fuck are you talking about Marisa? Who told you this?"

"Koke did. Don't even deny or say anything. You know what, I'm calling this a quit. I just can't do this. Cris was right. I see why he's so over protective about who I date." I shout, miserably and turn around and start walking away.

"Marisa! What the fuck, hear me out! Look, I'm sorry!" Sergio shouts from behind me but I say nothing and walk inside, slamming the door shut.

"Marisa?" Antoine and Cris whisper.

"What just happened?" Cris asks, looking so worried.

"Nothing, I left something in my car so I just went to grab that. Have you got training tomorrow Cris?"

"You're alright though? And yeah, looks like a busy schedule tomorrow for me."

I then looked over at Antoine who stood there, flicking through a magazine until his eyes met mine. He then walks over and looks at both me and Cris.

"I think i'm going to get going now. It's pretty late." Antoine smiles, looking awkwardly around the room.

"I'll walk with you to the door." I smile, as I nod at Cris and then walk out of the living room with Antoine.

Antoine then simply opens the door and stands on the porch. He turns around, his face looking restless like he had something to say.

"Marisa, are you sure you're fine?" He asks just once more.

"I am, I promise."

"You didn't tell Cri-"

"I don't want him worrying. Besides, I don't want to ruin any friendships here. Honestly, it's fine." I say, giving a reassuring smile and then I quickly give him a hug.

"If you ever need anything, I'm always here. Always." Antoine winks and smiles at me. I couldn't help but give him another hug.

"I appreciate this so much, thank you Antoine for being my best friend."
