Writers's POV ♔

A couple of hours passed and the night started getting more chillier. The moon was out, it's light glowing and shining bright. Antoine and Marisa were still lying down on the grass. Cuddled up together, they spent their afternoon laughing and giggling reminiscing old thoughts and memories.

Eventually, the evening started to get colder than usual. There was this sudden cold breeze that started making Marisa shiver. Antoine looks at Marisa shivering and realises it's too cold so they both get up to leave.

"Come on, take my jacket. You're freezing." He says in a soft voice, taking his jacket off and wrapping it around Marisa.

"But-"

"No but's" He simply answers.

Antoine's POV ♔

I noticed how cold it suddenly got. My arms felt extremely cold but I had to make sure Marisa was all warm and fine.

We walked back to my car and I held the door open for Marisa and she got in. Once I got inside, I turned the heating on to make sure the car was all warm. It wasn't that late but I wanted to get Marisa back home since it had been a long day, not that we did much. I turned the ignition on and off we went.

"Antoine"

"Mhmm"

"Can I ask you a question?"

"Sure, what's that?"

"How come you don't have a girlfriend?"

I say nothing but look at her, then look ahead of me on the road.

"Sorry, I know it's bit of a personal question" she states, looking away.

"I just never found the one really." I reply, looking at the road. I could feel Marisa looking at me and I turn to look at her as we came to a red light.

"Same I guess." She shakes her head.

"Everyone always asks me. Media, friends and even family sometimes, but I never really know what to say or how to respond." I laugh and then look down.

"aw. I get constantly asked on a daily basis. Especially when i'm in America and the media are always pairing me up with someone. Cris hates it but it's just society isn't it?" She replies, looking away in annoyance.

"I kinda knew Sergio was never the one for me. There was just something about him. He's a great guy but I couldn't see it happen to be honest." She then adds, looking at the road and then me.

"Well, these things happen. And sometimes they happen for a reason. That's what I tell myself." I chuckle, driving smoothly.

"I can't wait to be with someone who will love me the most, have a cute family and just stay out of drama." She smiles to herself, looking out of the window like her life is a movie.

"Me too. One day Marisa. You'll have it all." I say, as my lips part and form a smile.

After that, the conversations eventually just drew out and it was quiet. I finally arrived at Marisa's house and stopped the car.

"Well, looks like we're h-"

I pause. I turn to see Marisa, fast asleep and her head tilted to the side, leaning against the window. She looked so precious and royal the way she slept; so elegant.

I couldn't disturb her so I got out of the car and walked over to her side. I carefully open the door and unbuckle Marisa's seat belt and gently pick her up, her head resting against my chest and carry her to the main door.

With one hand, I ring the doorbell and Cris answers. He then is about to say something until he notices Marisa in my arms.

"She fell asleep in the car." I whisper quietly.

"May I?" I then suggest and Cris indicates me to come in.

"I'll take her to her bedroom." I whisper, walking up the stairs carrying Marisa.

"As I walked up the stairs, I looked at Marisa's face that rested against my chest. God, she was just breathtakingly beautiful.

I finally get to her bedroom and walked inside over to her bed, placing her on her bed so gently. I then covered her with the blanket so she was all warm and snuggled. Cris stood at the doorstep and simply smiled and then walked off.

I turned away and was about to walk off before I felt something grab my hand. Quickly, I turn around again and looked down at my hand to see Marisa holding on to my hand. She was still asleep but it felt like she didn't want me to leave.

It was such a great feeling, her hand in mine. I gently removed her hand from mine, bent over and kissed her forehead.

"Goodnight Marisa. I love you." I whisper.

As I walk out, I bump into Cris in the hallway and it looked like he was waiting for me.

"Marisa was with you at training?" He asks, no emotions.

"Yeah, she was. Don't worry, I wanted to make sure she got back ho-"

"Home safe and sound. Thank you Antoine, you truly are a great guy. I admire you for that." He smiles, chuckling and putting out his hand for a handshake. Of course I go to shake his hands, giving him a friendly smile.

"Thank you Cristiano. Well, you are a champ as they all say and a great brother to Marisa. I'm glad she has someone like you to look out for her in her life." I mention, not even feeling any hesitation to say anything in front of Cristiano like I usually would.

"Anyways, I should probably leave. It's getting late and Filipe wanted to see me." I add, as I look at the door.

"Alright man. Also, i'm throwing a party tomorrow because it's Marisa's 21st birthday tomorrow. I would love for you to be there and I know Marisa would want you there too so make it there if you can. I'll text you the place and time. Oh, and you should dress formal, she loves great attires!" Cristiano exclaims as he laughs to himself.

"I'll be there. I'd love to." I say, with a huge smile on my face.
