I don't normally make these kinds of chapters because I wanted this to be serious and just insight into my life. Except there are certain things I would like to talk about that come off as weird. I'll elaborate. I don't listen to a whole lot of music, I just never have. But, ever since I've been trying to write my songs, I have been opened up to what seems to be a whole different world. Music changes the way you feel, think, and act. For example, I remember a time when I was working on an important language arts paper when I turned a song on to make the process go faster. I ended throwing the paper across the room and I just sat on the bed for an hour. You see, it changes the way you think and act. I was driving home one night and it was pretty late and I was listening to The Beach by The Neighbourhood. My mind started to sway, while my body went into autopilot. Going around every turn perfectly and keeping the right speed. I imagined one of my friends that's a girl getting dumped and then calling me telling me, then I drive over to pick her up and take her for a ride in my car to make her feel better while I play the radio. Then she leans on me while I drive her home. Then the next day I go over to the guy who dumped her and brakes his arm. This got me to make another which I am still working on called Pickup. It's strange how your mind treats you when there is a different sound.
