Setting; a warm spring night on a hill. There are a couple trees around, with a forest to the left. The sky is empty with only the moon to light the area. It is full, and next to it we see the silhouette of a boy sitting on the hill, his head rested on his knees with his hands holding his legs in place. The boy speaks to himself as a gentle breeze blows behind him.
Boy: "I feel like I haven't encountered this moon in a large sum of time. Indeed a time has accumulated. This moon fills me with a sense of nostalgia. As if looking in a mirror I see myself. Alone in the empty sky, no one to speak with you for all who have come have gone with the day. A symbol of madness in the eyes of the scholar. You repeat the same tasks every day with no change in outcome. You appear in a constant state of emptiness, your most beautiful feature. Sometimes I wish I was like you, in your cycle for what seems static. Appearing empty to those who pass, when in reality you are quite full. Sometimes it can get lonely like this. However, I should not fret, for there will always be the ones like me. Sitting as close to you as we can get, telling you of our troubles. I am not the only one who talks to the moon. If I'm being honest I wish I could sleep forever. Oh Luna, if only you would appear in front of me as a girl. I would keep you and myself acquainted. We could fall in love fast for you already know me and I know you. I am not the only one to have a crush on the moon."
Narrator: The boy writes his words down on a piece of paper he found in his jean pocket. After writing he stands and walks to the tree nearby, he investigates and then finds a knife wedged into the side of the tree. He folds the paper into a smaller triangular piece. The knife is pulled out and the paper is placed in the wedge. The knife is wedged back in on top of the paper even harder. The boy walks away.
