I spilled my guts. So much happened and Jared would settle for nothing less than everything. Throughout the story Jared didn't know if he was excited or in shock. I could tell because one second he was smiling and the next his jaw was on the floor.
"Wow!" was all he said when I was done.
"What?"
"That's just... wow! I wonder why he waited so long."
"Yeah he said the same thing."
"Yeah I remember."
"Now here's the catch."
"Oh no."
"I know he told me that I can trust him and that he wasn't as much of a jerk as I thought he was but, what if he lied?"
"You need to trust him."
"He told me that too. But, I don't know I'm not really someone who has a lot of luck. I mean really the best thing that's happened to me.... ever.... was you."
"Oh..... that's so sweet. But gurl go get your Austin."
"Once again, I'm going to pull the negative card. What about Elise? She's going to freak if she knows we text and spend time together."
"So what? let. Her freak! She's just going to be mad because the one girl Austin wants more than her is the only girl that isn't scared of her, like everyone else."
"Including you." I laughed.
"Yes including me. Without you I would not have lived this long. She freaks the shit out if me."
"Haha! Just admit that I'm strong and you're weak" I told him.
"Never. But I will tell you, you need to get over your fear."
"What fear?"
"Come on. I know you better than anybody else. I know you're scared of being broken. You're scared that if you let Austin into your personal bubble he's going to pop it and you think you won't be able to blow another one around yourself. Just promise me something?"
"What?" I mumbled looking up into his electric blue eyes.
"Promise me you'll take a chance."
"I promise."
