The Fair

Tohru's P.O.V

"Miss Honda are you ready?"  "Tohru are you ready?" Yuki and Kyo said simultaneously. 

My heart started to accelerate and I was panicking in my head.

"What do you mean is she ready? She's coming with me!" they both said,in sync.

It's just funny how alike they are but they can't see it. 

"What are you talking about you damn rat?" Kyo said 

 Yuki,his face angrier than I've ever seen it,said, "Tohru is going with me to the fair today at the park so get lost you stupid cat."

"No she's not,you filthy rodent,she's going with me."

"Let's just ask Tohru then."

"Who would you like to go with?" They said,once more in unison.

"Ummmm. Why don't  we all go together?"

"If that's what you want Ms.Honda." Yuki said.

"Yeah whatever." was Kyo's reply.

 I hooked my arms in both theirs and we left the house.

Yuki's P.O.V

I can't believe I'm here with that stupid cat. This was supposed to be my time with Ms.Honda to get to know her some more...and for her to get to know me and open up to me. If only she knew how I felt about her...

"Here you go Yuki! You must be thristy. Have some juice."

"Thank you Ms.Honda.Where's the cat?"

"Oh he's over at the game booth. Would you like to go for a little walk and see some more of the fair?"

"It would be my pleasure," I said,a big smile on my face." After you."

 We started to walk just taking in the sights. I couldn't believe that I was here with Tohru,talking,walking, just her and me.

"What are you thinking about Yuki?"

"Umm.. what?"

"Oh. You're smiling so sweetly..I was just wondering what you're thinking about. I hardly ever see you smiling. It's nice to see."

"I was thinking about you."

"Me? Oh."

I cringed on the inside at her tone. I couldn't decipher if my telling her was a good idea or not. We walked in an awkward silence for abou  ten steps.

"Miss Honda I.."

"Yuki what..."

"Oh..you go first Ms.Honda."

"Alright. I just wanted to ask you what it was... you were thinking... about me."

 I completely froze. Should I tell her what I was really thinking? That her face is the one I dream of every night?That everytime she speaks my heart skips a beat and I hold my breath without thinking?

"I-I-I was just thinking about how much you've changed since you came to live with us,that's all. You've become such a good friend to me."

I looked at her and forced a smile on my face as I said it,knowing it wasn't true. But as I looked at her I got the shock of my life...it almost looked like..it couldn't be..was that disappointment I was seeing?
