Kayla POV:
Today is the Fourth of July!!! There is a fireworks show on the beach tonight and we're going to it with some of his friends from marching band!
We just got to the beach and sat next to our friends. The fireworks haven't started yet so they just talking amongst themselves and I was just starting to zone out when the girls, I think her name is Zoe, starts talking to me.
Z: “Hey Kayla have you thought about joining marching band?”
K: “I don't know how to play any instruments…”
Z: “That's okay you can do colorguard! McKenzie tell her she should join guard!!!”
M: “Oh my gosh yes you should definitely do guard! It's like the best thing ever, and it's so fun, and the people are amazing *hair flip* and yes you should definitely do it!!!!!!!!!!!”
Umm okay this girl is a bit hyper but it seems like she really loves guard and I don't do any extra curricular activities so I may as well at least give it a try
M: “Yeah I think Maya is going to the flute sectional tomorrow at one, so how about you meet us at the beach at one and we can start teaching you how to spin flag!”
K: “Okay cool”
After that the fireworks started. Mackenzie was acting so adorable, making different silly faces each time a firework went off. I hope we can become good friends.
