chapter 18

Skyes p.o.v

I ran up the stairs as quick as I could, I hope Brendon doesn't get in trouble...

I opened his door and sat on his bed cross legged. I waited about 6 minutes, until I heard fast footsteps coming towards the door.

Sarah came bursting in eyes wide.
She ran over to his bedside table, threw the top draw open grabbed what looked like a vile of pills.

They looked familiar.. She ran out of the room quickly. 

I jumped off the bed and ran down after her.

As I reached the kitchen, I saw Brendon huddled against the wall with his head in his hands. He was shaking violently, and crying. I instantly recognised it as a panic attack.

His mom and sisters were stood in the doorway staring at him. I went and sat next to him, his mom told me to come away, but I ignored her.

" bren,listen to me sit up straight, and take deep breaths." I told him. He stayed where he was.

" Brendon. Sit up, legs out in front of you, take deep breaths."
I said more demanding this time.

He did as I said, he put his legs out in front of him straightend his back, and tried to take deep breaths.

" okay, good." I told him. " now hold your arms above your head slightly."

He lifted his arms weakly and rested them on his head.

I rubbed his back and told him He was doing good, and that he was Okay.

I pressed a kiss to his temple for a moment, before getting up and getting his pills and a glass of water.

I sat back down and have them to him.

He took the pills, washing them down hastily with the water.

His breathing evened out and he wasn't crying anymore.

I stood up and helped him to his feet. He rested on my shoulder slightly as we made our way upstairs. He was still visibly shaking, but he was alright.

I opened the door and sat him down on his bed.

Brendons p.o.v

She led me into my bedroom and sat me down on my bed.

I looked up at her. She didn't seem alarmed, she just looked calm.

"I'm sorry" I whispered , hanging my head.

"You don't need to be sorry Bren. You haven't done anything wrong." she said rubbing my back.

" I know but I feel bad, you didn't have to do that for me you know." i said.

"Well I care about you, so I helped you." she told me .

"Thank you." I said embracing her.

She hugged me back tightly.

I heard my door open, I looked round to see bug standing there, clutching her cow teddy to her chest.
She looked at skye, then at me she frowned slightly before shuffling over and crawling into my lap. I picked her up and hugged her.

"Please don't so that again Brendon." She said feebly.

"I'm sorry bug, I can't help it" I explained

"But it scares me.." she whimpered.

I pulled her away, and looked her in the eyes.

" it scares me too bug. I'll try not to do it again." I told her

"You promise"

"I promise." I said holding out my pinky.

  She shook it,and smiled. She jumped off my lap and clambered onto my bed. She layed there with her chin resting on her hands, kicking her legs.

She stared at Skye for a moment, before jumping up and crawling over to me.

She cupped her hands around my ear.

" she's very pretty." she 'whispered'.

"I know" I said looking at Skye.
She was playing with the thread on her ripped jeans.

She looked up and met my eyes. She smiled widely, blushed and went back to playing with the thread.

I laid back on my bed, beth laid on my chest, I looked at skye who was looking at us smiling slightly. I patted the bed next to me, and she giggled, before coming and laying next to me.

She snuggled into my side, and draped her arm over my waist. We stayed like this for a few minutes until I realized that Beth was asleep. I looked out of the window, and noticed it was getting dark. I looked down at Skye and realized that she was sleeping as well. Her chest rising and falling slowly. I smiled and pulled my phone out of my pocket.

I quickly snapped a picture of them both, and messaged Sarah to come get bug.

I put my phone away and closed my eyes,enjoying the moment.
Then Sarah knocked the door. She came in quietly looking at me worriedly.

"You okay Bren?"
"Yeah." i said looking up .

"Okay" she said quietly as she tried detaching bug.

She plucked her off and she groaned and squirmed. Her eyes opened slowly.

"Noooo.... Put me doooown." She complained groggily.

"No Beth. You need to go to bed" Sarah explained.

"But I wanna stay with brendooon." Beth protested.

"No."

"Yes"

"No!"

"Why noooot?"
"Because Brendons got his girlfriend over, and he wants to spend some time with her."

"But she's asleeep"

"Bethany you're going to bed end of story. You can see brendon in the morning." Sarah said sternly as she carried bug out of my room, closing the door noisily behind her.

Skye stirred next to me, and snuggled in further to my side.

I smiled and stroked her hair. I'm so glad she's mine....

A/n

Yeah my chapters are shit and short lately. Sorryyyy. I'll make 'em better somehow.
