The next day Rick left to pack some things to come back. I lay in bed thinking about life.
I hear a faint knock at the door. Who could it be? Rick will just walk in. I get up and walk down the hall to the door. I open it slowly cause it's only 10 am.
"Madison?" He voice soft and gentle.
"Serene?" I asked with a smile
"Yeah it's me." she says as she look at me.
I just look at her studying what's new. I embrace her in my arms. Several minutes have gone by when a tear rolls down my face.
"I can't believe it's you, you look so beautiful and" I pause for a moment "how did you find me?"
She looks at me and says "I went to every house toll someone knew who I was talking about"
I invite her in, of course offering something to drink.
"Water please" she speaks so delicately.
Rick walks in with a confusing look on his face.
"Hello, Rick and you are?" he introduces himself.
"Serene"
"Oh yes, madison has spoke a lot about you, very nice to meet you"
He takes his stuff up stairs as I explain who he is what he's doing here and why.
