*10 Days Later! (June 28, 2016)*
(Adela's POV!)
"Back to the tour bus life." I told Gerald as I went up the stairs of the bus as I carried Lucy.We were in Texas for the start of 'The Endless Summer Tour'. I was only going to go to this show, the show in Indianapolis, New York, Lollapalooza, and the last show in Hartford.
Gerald was going to be away for a while but I always get home sick and I don't really like having Lucy on the road. I just love my home and I'm so use to being there. I've been on the road before with Gerald, but with the wedding and everything going on, I felt like I needed to settle down for a bit.
I walked to the back of the bus to Gerald's room. He had a whole room to himself that had a bed, dresser, TV, and even a bathroom. I went and laid on the bed and Lucy quickly followed me onto the bed. She has gotten so big. She was only 9 pounds when we got her and now she's about 20 pounds. I can barely carry her but she likes to be treated like a little lap dog.
Gerald followed me into the room and laid down next to Lucy and I. Lucy got closer to him. He petted her as she got comfortable.
"It's not that long of a tour. I'll be home in the beginning of August. We'll have that whole month together. We can even start planning our honeymoon." Gerald told me smiling.
"I know, it's okay though. I know you're working. I'm just going to go home well, because I miss the house. I'll be with you in Indianapolis and then Chicago for Lolla. We'll be good." I told him smiling.
"You don't like the bus?" Gerald asked me laughing.
"No it's not that. The bus is awesome. Real comfy, but I love our house." I told him laughing.
"Yeah I love our house too. Don't worry, after all of this we'll go somewhere special." He told me smiling.
He slowly leaned in and put his lips against mine.
"Oh! I forgot to tell you. Matt actually got calls from Billboard magazine. They want us to be in the magazine. Photo shoot and interviews. We're going to get like a small two page section. You want to do it?" Gerald asked me as he hugged Lucy and I.
"Photo shoot? Me and you?" I asked him smiling.
"Yep. It's all about us. Just basic questions, about the married life you know. They're going to ask me about the music too. It would be nice." Gerald explained to me.
I looked at him and smiled. I studied his facial expression. I loved his long eyelashes.
"If you want to do it babe, we'll do it." I told him smiling.
"Really? I actually did want to do it. It's about us. I think it would be dope." He quickly said.
"Well then we're doing it." I quickly said.
*Three Hours Later!*
I stood back stage with all the guys. Yo Gotti, YG, and Logic had all preformed already. Me, being a lover of hip-hop watched all of their performances. They all did great. I moved all the way in the front as I held Lucy. Gerald was just about to go on. He stood behind four screens. Endless Summer started to play. Gerald looked over at me and smiled. The stage was filled with smoke and it was all dark. The screen slowly started to rise and Gerald walked out onto the stage. The crowd like always was going crazy.I smiled at how gracefully Gerald was on stage. I've been to so many of his shows but every show, I see something different. He's so energetic. He preformed a couple of songs and started to talk to the crowd again.
"Texas! Damn you guys are good! This is the first show of The Endless Summer Tour and you guys are killing it!" He told the crowd.
"A lot of shit is happening man. I got my boys YG, Yo Gotti, and Logic up in this bitch. My crew is here. My wife. It's a good night man. Make sure y'all turn up for this next song!" Gerald said into the mic.
