*Two Months Later! (June 4, 2016)*
(Adela's POV!)
"We have almost everything. We got the invitations out a long time ago, we ordered the flowers, the decorations, we got the venue a long time ago too. I just need to go to my last dress fitting." I told my mom as she sat on the couch.I flew my mom, Ashley, Marlene, and Bella out to LA so that they could all go with me to my last dress fitting. I was really excited. Gerald was out with the guys to have their last tux fitting too.
The past month was so crazy. Gerald barely finished his tour on May 26th in London. We celebrated his birthday in Birmingham since he had a show that day.
Our wedding is exactly 2 weeks away and I'm already very nervous. Everything is set up. We are having our wedding at a very nice venue here in Los Angeles. All of my family and friends are flying out here.
I'm even more nervous for after the wedding because just a week after our wedding, Gerald is going on the Endless Summer Tour with Logic, Yo Gotti, and YG. The good thing is I will be tagging along with him since I'm not working the whole summer. That's why I love working at a school.
"Well let's get going then." I told them smiling.
I walked over to Ashley and helped her put Bella in her car seat. Bella is almost 2 months old and she's so freaking cute. My family has been here for 3 days and Gerald spends most of his days carrying Bella which I think is so adorable. He even fell asleep with Bella soundly asleep on his chest.
We walked down the stairs and then walked to the garage and carefully buckled Bella up. We got into my car and I started to drive to the boutique. Once we were there we again carefully took Bella out and walked into the shop. This shop was so fancy and I loved it. Right when we walked in they offered us wine or champagne.
"No I'm fine but thank you." I told the lady smiling.
"Um no thanks too, I'm breastfeeding so yeah." Ashley told her.
"I'll take a cup." My mom said smiling.
"Me too." Marlene quickly said.
"Okay Ms.Rivera, we got the last fitting today. The wedding is near?" The lady told me.
"Two weeks exactly." I quickly told her smiling.
"Oh wow. Very fast then. Well lets get you into the fitting room." She told me.
I followed her into the huge fitting room. She handed me a really fancy white robe and then closed the curtain. I took my shirt and pants off and quickly put the rob on. Soon she slowly walked in with my dress in one of those clear protective bags. A smile went across my face.
"Okay. Do you want me to help you?" She asked me.
"Yes please. I don't want to mess it up." I quickly told her.
She carefully took it out of the bag and started to help me put it on. She zipped it up and tied all the little silk straps. It felt perfect. It fit perfectly.
"Okay, go ahead take a look." She told me.
I slowly turned around and looked into the mirror. I felt so beautiful. The dress was perfect. It was beautiful.
"I love it." I told her smiling.
"You look beautiful. He's going to love it." She quickly told me smiling.
"Okay, let's go show them." I said.
She helped me grab the train of my dress. I slowly walked out into the waiting room. Right when I stepped in my mom, Ashley, and Marlene's face lit up. I stepped up on a little podium in front of a mirror. I turned and looked at them.
All of their eyes were glossy.
"Oh Adela. You look so beautiful. It's perfect. It's like the dress was made for you." My mom said as she wiped her tears away.
"Guys don't cry." I quickly told them.
"No really Adela. You look beautiful. Gerald is going to love it." Ashley told me smiling.
"Look at you. My best friend is getting married. It's actually sinking in now." Marlene said as she also wiped tears off of her face.
"Perfect. Its perfect Del. You did great." My mom told me smiling.
"Thank you guys. Well looks like I'm ready now." I told them smiling.
(G-eazy's POV!)
"Fresh as fuck." Marty told me laughing as we both looked into the mirror."Yep, Adela is going to tear you up after the wedding." Ben said laughing.
"Shut the fuck up guys." I told them laughing.
I loved that my boys were always making jokes. They now how serious this was too me and I knew they were happy for me. Our wedding party isn't that big. My groomsmen are Angel, Ben, Matt, James, and Marty is my best man. Adela's bridesmaids are Ashley, Ben's girlfriend Jessica, Matt's girlfriend Jesse, James girlfriend, and Marlene is Adela's maid of honor. These 2 months went by really quickly and I'm really excited now.
"Yo you were driving Adela crazy! You wanted everything perfect with this." James told me.
"Well I mean, I'm only planning on getting married once so, might as well go all out." I told them smiling.
"Did you plan most of it?" Ben quickly asked me.
"No, we both planned everything. I just wanted a lot more glamorous things and she just wanted things to be traditional." I explained.
"Well you did go all out. Look at us. You're in all black. Like always." Marty said.
"I'm ready guys. I can get married now if I want to." I said as I looked at myself in the mirror.
"Let's do a toast." Matt said.
We all grabbed our cup of whiskey.
"To Gerald and Adela. May they spend a whole life of happiness together. May they enjoy this life that they were blessed with." Matt said as he looked around the circle.
"Cheers!" Everyone said as they clinked their glasses together.
I took a sip and looked around at all my friends. I can honestly say that I love all of these guys and that they're my brothers. Seeing James here makes me so happy too.
"I just want to tell you guys thank you. I know I'm obviously not getting married today but I just want to thank you guys for always being there for me. This is the next step in my life and you guys have been with me through it all. So for that, thank you." I said as I looked at them.
"Man you know we're always going to be here for you." Marty said.
I felt so blessed. I had my friends by my side, my mom and brother, my new family that is amazing, and my fiancé who is soon going to be my wife. I can't wait to get married.
