Chapter Twenty Three - New Addition

*One week later!*
(Adela's POV!)
"Any car in specific that you're leaning more towards Mrs.Gillum?" The car salesman said as we walked through the rows of luxury cars.

"Um, do you have any soccer mom cars or trucks?" I curiously asked him.

He just looked at me completely confused.

"Mr.Gillum said you preferred sports cars. A luxury sports car were his exact words." He said confused.

"Yeah, but I changed my mind." I told him smiling.

Gerald had a meeting with Matt and the record company so he's meeting me here in about 45 minutes.

The dealer had all kinds of cars from Lexus, Audi, Cadillac, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and much more. All these cars were crazy expensive. I should've known Gerald was going to make me come here. I literally just want another Toyota car or Hyundai. 

"Well, the new Mercedes-Benz SUV's are very popular. Very luxurious and safe as well. Here let me show you." The salesman said.

We started to walk and sure enough he led me to a very nice SUV. It was white but had black rims and the interior was all blacked out. It was really nice.

"Very comfortable. Fully loaded. Fits 8. Great for families." He told me smiling.

"Wow. It's great. I love it. How much is it?" I said.

"This is the GLC, so it runs about $59,000." He calmly said.

"Holy crap." I quickly said.

"This is actually one of the least expensive. I have one that is a bit more if you'd like to see it." He told me smiling.

"No, no. This one is perfect. I love it. It's just you know, I have a Toyota Camry and when I bought it, I paid $20,000 and well, this is a big difference." I explained.

"I understand Mrs.Gillum. Well would you like to wait for Mr.Gillum, or do you want to start the process now?" He said.

"I'll wait for my husband. I can wait for him inside if that's okay." I told him smiling.

"Of course. I will be popping in to see if you two are ready." He told me.

I walked back into the dealer and sat down in a little living room area they had. Geez were these places nice. I still wasn't use to all of this. Gerald didn't even get his car in till we bought the house, but of course now he has like 3 cars.

I sat on the couch reading a magazine and checking social media. I was on Twitter when I felt someone sit next to me. I looked over and there was Gerald smiling at me.

"How did it go?" He asked me.

"Great babe." I told him smiling.

He quickly leaned in and gave me a peck on the lips.

"Great. You want to show me what you chose? I hope you chose a really nice car babe. I told the salesman to let you pick whatever you wanted." He told me.

"I love the car I chose. I think you'll like it too. Come on I'll show you." I told him as I stood up.

He quickly stood up behind me and grabbed my hand. We walked hand in hand back onto the lot. We started to walk towards the Mercedes-Benz cars.

"Okay a Benz is nice. I'm excited now." Gerald told me laughing.

Soon we got closer to the SUV. I stopped right in front of it.

"Here she is. Isn't she beautiful?" I told him excitedly as I moved in front of the truck and leaned against the hood.

"Um babe, I said a sports car. This isn't a sports car." Gerald said confused.
