Chapter 8

Hello and sorry for not uploading I’ve been busy with school, writing speeches doesn’t leave much time to write my story but I hope this kind of makes up for it.

Chapter 8

Onyx’s POV

I walked out of the bathroom and the bell rang so I got my stuff and walked to class eager for this day to be over. I sat down in class and Brandon popped into my head what happened. Nothing and I shut him out putting my head on the desk hoping to get some sleep.

 “Onyx am I boring you” I looked up at the balding man known as my history teacher and simply said “Yes” “well then you can go to the principal’s office” “ok”.

I walked out and down to the principal’s office I walked in and the principle was waiting for me with a detention slip for two days I signed it and walked back out.

I walked into lunch and sat down after getting cheese fries. “Sam do you want to come hang out with us at Scarlett’s house after school?” “Sure” “Yay!” I had the strangest feeling I wasn’t going to like what’s going to happen when we all get there.

I walked into class and sat down next to Xavier and put my head down. “Didn’t you already get detention for sleeping in class” I flipped him off and he chuckled beside me. I felt fingers start playing with my hair I really love the hair it suits you.” He said it so sweetly I almost melted but I just swatted his hand away and paid attention to the teacher so I wouldn’t get more detention.

  After I was through with detention I got in my car and drove to Scarlett’s house. Once I pulled up I got out and I didn’t even have a chance to knock before I was pulled inside and up the stairs into a blood red room. “is everything you own blood red” I asked looking at Scarlett “That and black” she laughed I sat down on the bed and put my head against the wall

  “So I’m guessing this isn’t just a social thing” Raven smiled “Nope” “We want to have a little fun with the boys” Roxy said, “Like?” “Like full on prank war” Scarlett smiled. My face lit up “I’m in” and so we started planning on what to do we wanted to put it in action to night.

It was going to be me, Roxy, Raven, Scarlett and Emily. We were pranking Brandon, Alex, Ruben, Dante, and unfortunately Xavier but hey I would take any chance to mess with him and maybe make him hate me. So we all got one boy and we had to sneak into their house and steal all their clothes and replace them with girl dresses.

We would set the clock so they wouldn’t have time to get clothes from somewhere else and they would have to walk into school like that. So we all went back home changed and went to do everything we had planned.

I got home and got the things I needed and put it in a bag I jumped out my window and ran into the forest putting my clothes in the bag and shifting running to Xavier’s house. I got there shifted back and climbed through his window thank god it was unlocked. I got in and just as I was about to move I heard footsteps and voices.

 I hid under the bed just as they walked in it was Xavier and Dante talking about. ME?

“I just want her to trust me and love me” Xavier said “I know dude but just give her some time” “how much time my wolfs already going crazy!” “I know but she’s just scared” “She shouldn’t be we were made for each other” he sounded so depressed. “She’ll come around Xavier be patient” “yeah”.

I heard Dante walk out and Xavier lay down on the bed it sunk down and I moved over being quiet as possible. I looked to the right and saw his jeans and T-shirt hit the floor oh my god. Oh come on Onyx please please just jump out from under this bed and jump him he won’t mind.

 My wolf purred no I will not you know what could happen and I won’t let it. I heard his breathing even out and knew he was asleep I got out from under the bed. He was so cute when he slept he looked peaceful NO I have to stop thinking like that,

I went to his closet and grabbed all the clothes and the ones he dropped on the floor I put the bag on the ground and walked over to the alarm clock. I set it to the right time and was about to walk away when he grabbed my waist.

My heart beat picked up and I started to panic he pulled me down on the bed and pulled me closer to his well-defined chest and a low hum came from his chest. He was still asleep his breathing still even he breathed in and whisper “I love you Onyx”. Those made my heart hurt so much and I wanted to cry but I didn’t I had to be strong.

I got out of his grip and grabbed the bag I walked to the window and looked back one last time at his sleeping form. He was smiling and was hugging the pillow close to him like he never wanted to let it go. For a split second I wanted that to be me to be in his arm to be the one he never wanted to let go.

I knew that was impossible though not with my past not with so many things that were wrong. So I turned away and jumped out the window heading home and once I got in my room I changed into shorts and a tank top and went o sleep hoping for no dreams to interrupt me.

Before I fell completely asleep I faintly heard a thud and paws hitting the ground running into the woods and I knew Emily had finished her part of the plan.

The next morning

I woke up and did the normal stuff I put on a black lace skirt and back and blue cami I grabbed back high heeled booths and a blue hoodie and walked down stairs. “Hey mom” “Hey sweet heart” she set a plate of chocolate chip pancakes in front of me. “Thank you”

I dug in and almost groaned they were so good “so how are things with you and your mate” I almost spit out my food. “Mom you know why I don’t want to get close to him” I looked down and just played with my food suddenly not hungry. “I know but you shouldn’t just shut him out be his friend at least but don’t cut him out of your life.” She kissed my forehead grabbed her car keys and left for work

I sighed maybe she was right but I wasn’t going to think about that now. I put my plate in the sink and walked out to my car and drove to school. I got out and walked to the girls who were all sitting under a tree waiting I sat down and turned on my iPod. Revenge Porn by Blood on the Dance Floor came on and I sat back and waited.

Two minutes before the bell rand all their cars pulled up and they were all in the dresses we put in their closets. They looked pissed we laughed along with the rest of the student population but we were on the ground dying. They looked at us and I swear Brandon Dante and Xavier’s eyes all got darker. I gulped and so did Emily.

They started walking this way stood up quickly “SCATTER THEY CANT CATCH ALL OF US” and we all ran and luckily I was quicker than Xavier today so I ducked down a deserted hallway. I decided to ditch first and just walk around so I walked and just thought about what would happen if I was friends with Xavier.

Right now I don’t think that would happen I was so wrapped up in my thoughts I didn’t notice guitar music playing. I walked over to one of the rooms and pushed it open walking inside. I looked at the cd player playing the music and waked over to it seeing the note on top with a cd under it.

The music playing was amazing so I took the not and opened it I took a deep breath and began to read.
