Chapter 12

After what Alex said we just turned off the tv and relaxed just talking to each other about random stuff.

“Onyx what’s that on your neck?” Emily asked

I froze getting really uncomfortable I knew it was still there and I forgot to cover it up.

“OH MY GOD Onyx has a hickey!” Scarlett sang.

“Who gave it to you!?” Roxy yelled jumping on top of me and getting in my face.

“Get. Off. Of. Me.” I said slowly

“Not until you tell me!” She screamed.

“Xavier OK!!” I yelled

“AWWWWWWWWW!!” everyone started making comments.

“Enough I’m not talking about it, it was pretty much forced” I snapped and they all got quiet.

“Fine.” Roxy pouted and we popped in a movie deciding that would be better. I didn’t really watch it I was to absorbed in my thoughts to concentrate on it.

I thought about what happened between Xavier and me in that classroom. I blushed slightly I know I shouldn’t have liked that but since he was my mate I did. I wanted it to happen again but I knew it couldn’t nothing like that could.

I frowned and just laid down drifting off to sleep hoping to dream of me and Xavier together but unfortunately fate had another crueler idea in mind.

Dream

I was in a room it was dark to dark so I couldn’t see anything then the lights flicked on. Oh god I knew who’s room I was in he tortured me for a year and a half he turned out to be the biggest mistake of my life. Zane. Suddenly I felt his arms around my waist his faced buried in my neck I struggled against him but it was useless he was stronger.

“I miss you and I’m getting closer to you love you’ll be mine again.” His lips pulled up I could feel them on my neck.

“I’m not yours I never will be.” I snapped suddenly I was on the bed with him on top of me.

“Your mine love you always will be I will kill whoever gets in my way” he started kissing my neck he growled looking at the hickey and moved to the other side sucking on it hard to give me another hickey.

I struggled I was so uncomfortable but he wouldn’t budge. He stopped pulling back and examining the mark and smiling his eyes moved to mine I could see lust and love in them but I wouldn’t fall for it.

“you know I can feel your presence that means I’m getting close to you” he smiled and pressed his lips to mine as I remained still

“I know you hate me put that will change I’m not how I used to be I’ll never hurt you again. He looked so sincere I almost caved but I didn’t.

“No you won’t Zane you never will so stop coming into my dreams!!!” I screamed

I woke up sweating about to scream when Emily covered my mouth motioning for me to go out on the balcony with her. I got off the bed making sure to not wake the others and walked out I looked down and she was on the ground in wolf form.

I jumped off the balcony and stripped shifting and we ran until we came to a clearing. We both shifted back putting on out clothes and sitting down in the grass.

“You looked so scared like you were fighting something what were you dreaming about?”

“I can’t tell you.” I said thinking of the consequences.

She looked hurt “I thought we were friends?”

“We are that’s why I can’t tell you I’m not putting you in danger your my brothers mate I won’t do that.”

“Ok but will you promise me something please.” I shook my head yes weary of what shed ask. “If you get in trouble tell me or Xavier please.”

I sighed but nodded she smiled and hugged me tightly. “If anything happened to you a lot of people would be hurting Onyx remember that.”

We ran back to the house and we got back into Roxy’s room I laid back down on the bed and stared at the ceiling until I drifted to sleep    

Morning

I woke up to Roxy hitting me with a pillow I glared picking up a pillow and chucking it at her only she ducked and it hit Raven. Let’s just say it turned out into an all-out war between us with me and Scarlett winning. Roxy’s mom called up the stairs for us to come down for breakfast.

We all ran down stairs and sat at the table were her mom put chocolate chip pancakes. We laughed at the fact Scarlett had like twenty on her plate. After we ate me and Emily drove me home.

She looked at me she could tell that the wolves were still here. I shook my head I could handle this on my own besides mom was home so they couldn’t do anything that bad. I got out grabbed my bag and walked into the house ready for anything.
