Mikael

Mikael drove home from work and entered his appartement. He sat on the couch and watched tv for a while he looked at his phone and sighed when he saw the picture of him and his girlfriend. he unlocked the phone and called her.
"Hey Mickey." she said when she picked up the phone.
"Hey Katy, do you want to meet up? I need to tell you something."
"Oh, sure. Should I come to you or will you come to me?"
"Ehm, I'll come to you." Mikael said.
"Okay, I'll see you in a bit then." Kate said.
"Yeah, you will." Mikael said and hung up. He got up and walked out of the appartement. He got into his car and drove to Kate's place. he rang the door bell and she opened.
"Hey Mickey." She said smiling.
"Hey Kate." Mikael said putting on a fake smile. Kate let him in and they went to the living room.
"So what do you want to tell me?" Kate asked, smiling at him.
"Well, Kate.... I don't really know how to do this.."
"Just say it."
"Well... you are an amazing woman and we've had a lot of fun together."
"Yes."
"And I want the both of us to be happy, so.."
"Yes??"
"I need to break up with you."
"Of c-... What?"
"I'm sorry, Kate, You are great but you're not the one for me.... I'm in love with someone else."
"What? I... I don't understand, what changed your mind?"
"A feeling I have for a while now, ever since we got back together."
"Why didn't you just break up with me right away?"
"Because I wasn't sure, I loved you but that other person too and I didn't know, I'm sorry okay."
"Well, that's a lot different than what I expected."
"What do you mean?"
"I thought you were going to propose." Kate said sad.
"What? I don't mean to be a dick but why would I propose?"
"Well, we've been together for quite a while before we broke up and when you said you still loved me I thought  you would want to propose soon."
"I'm sorry I made you think that, but I don't want to marry you. You are not the one for me and I know I'm not the one for you either." Mikael said and Kate looked down a little disappointed.
"I'm really sorry, Kate."
"No, it's okay... I shouldn't have thought that just because you wanted to get back together."
"I'm sure you will find someone who's perfect for you."
"I hope so... I hope the same for you." Kate said and smiled at him. "So who is the lucky girl now? What's her name?"
"His name is Andy."
"Oh.... you are in love with a guy."
"Yes, again, I'm sorry."
"It's okay. We had fun, I'm sad you don't want to be with me anymore and a little shocked you dump me for a man, but I'm happy you are honest with me."
"I understand, but I know you'll be fine."
"I think so too, though you won't find me in a bar the next couple of weeks."
"If I do I'll bring you home."
"I think that's a good deal. So, we'll be friends?"
"If you want that."
"I want that."
"Okay.... I ehm, think I should go then."
"Maybe that's a good idea."
"I'll see you around then." Mikael said while they walked to the door.
"Yeah, see you." Kate said and closed the door, Mikael walked to his car and drove around to Andy's house, he rang the doorbell and Emily opened.
"Hey, Mikael." Emily said, a little confused to see him.
"Hey Emily, is Andy home?"
"No, sorry, he is still at work." Emily said.
"Okay... do you know when he will be home?"
"He texted me it could take some more hours."
"Okay... thanks." Mikael said and walked back to his car. He drove to the building he knew Andy worked in and walked in.
"Hello." A woman said. "Can I help you?"
"Yes, I'm looking for Andy Danton." Mikael said. the woman typed some things into her computer.
"He's in a meeting right now and is done after that."
"Do you know how long the meeting will take?"
"No, though it started four hours ago, so I think they'll be done soon. But I don't know, sorry."
"That's okay, thanks." Mikael said and walked out. He walked around for a while and went back to the building. he waited by his car and played some games on his phone. he looked up when he heard someone walked out of the building but Andy didn't come out. Mikael sighed and played flappy bird for another 20 minutes. He beat his high score trice when he heard the door open again. Mikael looked up and smiled when he finally saw Andy's dirty blond hair. He wore a suit and had sunglasses what made him look like a character from Man in Black. Mikael smiled and walked to him.
"Andy!" He called and Andy turned around.
"Mikael? What are you doing here?" Andy asked confused and took of his sunglasses. Mikael looked down into Andy's brown eyes and felt his heart flutter.
"I need to talk to you." Mikael said.
"So you had to come to my work? You could've called me."
"I know, but I also know you wouldn't have picked up."
"What do you want, Mikael?" Andy asked, a little annoyed by now.
"I need to t-"
"You already said that. I really want to go home so please make it quick."
"I broke up with Kate... I'm sorry I left you, I was just confused because you are the first man I ever dated and... I just needed to figure things out."
"By dumping me out of the blue and causally saying you would get back together with you're ex?"
"I know it was stupid.... I really do... please give me another chance. I promise you I won't screw up."
"No, Mikael. Not now. I've got enough to deal with right now with my wife in town and the company, so please leave me alone." Andy said and turned around.
"Please, Andy, I beg you. I love you."
"What?"
"I love you." MIkael said again and Andy turned back to him.
"Are you seriously telling me you love me in the middle of the parking plot of my company?"
"I just... I had to tell you. I don't want to lose you."
"Mikael... I don't want to lose you either but... I guess I'm just mad because of what you said when you dumped me."
"I'm sorry about that and It was foolish of me to do that to you. I'm sorry and I'll do anything to make it right." Mikael said and Andy smiled a little.
"I really love you, Andy." Mikael said and Andy smiled a little.
"What can I do to make it up?" Mikael asked.
"I don't know."
"Please forgive me, I don't want to lose you. You are my first male love and I know I crewed up but I love you and I want to be with you, you are everything to me and I... I need you." Mikael said and Andy chuckled.
"Just kiss me you idiot." He said and pulled Mikael down for a  kiss. Mikael smiled and kissed back. Andy smiled at him when he pulled back.
"Does this mean you'll take me back?" Mikael asked.
"Yes, but let's do things a little different now."
"Anything."
"We tell Emily and we don't let her find out by walking in on us again."
"Sounds like a plan."
"Just less secrecy, okay?"
"I agree, unless it had to stay a secret."
"Of course."
"Well... I'll ehm... I think we should go home soon."
"Yeah, I think so too. Though we could get dinner together."
"An even better idea."
"I"m he clever one, remember?" Andy said with a cheeky grin.
"Very funny,  Andy. We both know the incident with the pan was an accident."
Andy chuckled. "I know, but let's go. I'll text Emily."
"Okay. What restaurant, and do we both drive?"
"I think we should, both of our cars are here."
"Yeah, okay." Mikael said, Andy texted Emily and they drove to a cute little restaurant in town. they ordered and Andy got a text from Emily.

Andy frowned a little.
-How did you know?
~He was at our place earlier today and asked for you
-Oh, okay
~Don't do anything stupid.
-I'll be fine, MOM Andy texted with a chuckle
~BE HOME BEFORE TEN YOUNG MAN Emily texted and andy smiled
-IT'S NOT A PHASE, MOM! LEAVE ME ALONE!
~See you tonight, dad.
-See you tonight, Em, and thank you for calling me young :) Andy texted and put his phone away.
"Was Emily okay with it?"
"I think so." Andy said and their food soon arrived. they ate together and talked a lot. they had a lot of fun and in the end Mikael paid for everything.
"I can pay too, Mik."
"I know, but I don't let you."
"Next time is on me."
"No it's not, I'll pay."
"No."
"You know, we'll see then."
"Okay."
"I hope we can do this again soon."
"Me too, I'll text you soon."
"Promise?"
"Promise."
"Great, I'll look forward to it." Mikael said and Andy smiled. They walked to their cars and Andy gave him a kiss before leaving. Mikael smiled and went home.
