"I'm a dad?" He says slowly, still staring at the baby. I nod my head, not wanting to say anymore. "W-why didn't you tell me?!" He sounded like he was frustrated. But why? "Why didn't I tell you? Why did you just leave?" I questioned back. He looked up at me, then looked back down to the floor. "Exactly, Wes"
"Luna, would you ever take me back. So I could be a good father. Maybe a good husband?" He hesitated for a second. "I- uhh I don't know" i replied "maybe" I whispered the last part. I thought it was inaudible but when I looked back up at him, he was grinning like a child getting a gift they always wanted.
"Maybeee you should." He said smiling
"But before we get ahead of ourselves, what's his name?" he said looking back at the baby.
"His name is Julian.. Julian Tucker" I said, slightly scared for his reaction.
"JULIAN TUCKER" he exclaimed "that's so CUTE. HE HAS MY LAST NAME" he started jumping up and down while I laughed. I missed moments like this with. It's been so long, I had completely forgotten how happy he made me.
"May I hold him?" He asked, nervousness coated his voice. "Sure" I said, motioning for him to pick up the baby. As soon as he did, my phone had gone off.
I was in a group chat with my friends.
"Hey Lunaaa, bbygirl,
But we can't make it to the mall today, some plans came up and we all have to do something. We're sorry, we'll make it up to you! Promise. Hope you have fun with the baby! Xoxo- all of us"
Damn. I drove here for no reason.
Well, it's a good thing I drove here because If I hadn't of, I would probably never have seen Wes ever again in my life... but here I am.
"Looks like my friends ditched." I said with a little pouty face"
"Well, maybe we could hang out..a little." He said shrugging, keeping his attention on the baby.
"Yea sure, I guess"
He looked at me and grinned. "Yayyy, today's going to be awesomeee" he said laughing. I grabbed all of my stuff, and looked at the two boys I lived dearly.
"Lets go Tucker. Let's make today Awesomee" I sang the last part causing all of us to laugh. Including the baby.
Just as I thought I wouldn't ever be happy again, I accidentally ran into the boy I once loved, and to be honest, still loved till this day..
