Labyrinth: A Queen in hidding {On Hold}

Not only the goblin king

The high king was looking at Sarah closly. "You have changed." He said with a tierd voice and Sarah grind and she jumps down from the window and lands swiftly on the floor. "You should know that I change every thousand years." She said and she starts to spin a little.

"But I got to say, I really like this body, it just to bad it's owner don't have long time left. She was already weak when I entered." Sarah said and she looks at herself. "And yet you took over?" The high king said and Sarah looks at him.

"Well this is quiet funny. This body is not from this land but yet it had the strongest connection towards the Labyrinth in years. The poor girl had no choice and she knew it." Sarah said and she shrug her shoulders.

"Looks like your didn't just change body but personality to." The high king said and he narrows his eyes and the tension in the room somehow managed to get much higher.

"Not really. But when things like this happens." Sarah said and she nods towards Jareth and Leira. "I am forced to take action." She then added and the high kings eyes grow even more narrowed and he was suddenly standing in front of Sarah and looking down on her.

"This marriage will happen, there is no better fit for this land and you will see it in one way or another." The high king said and Sarah looked at him. She was surprised at the sudden outcome and in the corner of her eyes she could see how Leira smiled, her eye color shifted for a second.

Sarah turned her attention fully back on the high king once more. "It will be up to me and this land to decide on who is fit or not. You know what will happen if you go against the spirits, a specially the Labyrinth spirit." Sarah said and she steps back and jumps back up in the window.

"But I'm not here to talk about a past, I come to make sure the king informed you that I was back." She said and she looks at Jareth. "But it seems as the king has forgotten where his loyalty really should be." She said and she could see that Leira was about to say something.

But Sarah just hold out her arms and let herself fall back words out from the window and was now falling towards the ground. But halfway down she transformed in to the sparrow hawk and was shooting up towards the sky in high speed before it was gone.

Leira looks at the high king and her eyes were narrowed. "What was that!" She asked or rather demanded. The high king just let out a deep sigh and sat back down in his chair and he puts a hand on his forehead.

"That is nothing you need to worry about my dear." The high queen said and she puts a hand on her husbands shoulder. "No, that thing was intending that she was going to make sure I would not marry the man I love." Leira said and she looks at the high queen.

The high queen looks at her. "Don't worry, like my husband said you two will get married and the child will see it to." She said in a calm voice. "How can you be so calm, she was threatening all of us and she even dear to question Jareth loyalty. I will not stand for this." She said with a cold voice before she walks out from the room.

Sarah was flying in high speed towards the center of the Labyrinth and halfway through the flight she had changed form. She had gone from a sparrow hawk to a barred owl, a animal that fit her much more.

Once she reaches the center she gose down for landing and she could feel how she gose through a hidden barrier. Once she is close enough to the ground she turns back in to her human form and she looks around herself.

"Spirit are you here!" Sarah called out and she was starting to feel very uneasy. "I'm here my little one." The spirits voice was saying all around her but she could not see her. "Take deep breath and calm your heart my dear." The spirit said once more.

Sarah closes her eyes and she dose as the spirit told her. She took a few very deep breath, in and out for a few minutes and she could feel how her heart was calming down. "Now what is it you need to talk about?" The spirit voice said from behind Sarah.

Sarah opens up her eyes and she turns around to see the spirit. "I don't think Jareth is the only one being controlled." Sarah said and the spirit looks at her with big eyes. "What makes you think that?" She asks.

"I meet with the high king and queen just a few minutes ago. From what I heard and the memories that is echoing in my head the high king is not acting the way he usally do. And I could see Leira's eyes change color for a second when the high king was trying to put me in place." Sarah said.

The spirit looks at Sarah and her eyes had grown big. "This can't bee." She said and she sits down on a stone bench that was suddenly there. "There is one more thing." Sarah said and the spirit looks at her.  "And that is?" She asks, not really sure she wishes to know what was going to come.

"When I went to interrupt the dinner between the three of them I had just thought of showing up, telling the high king and queen that I was there. But the second I saw the high king it was like something or someone took over my body and mind. I could not control it." Sarah said and she lowers her head.

The spirit smiled sadly. "Maybe I should of have told you that when I gave you the extra powers I gave you a bit of the memories that belongs to the person that use to be the Labyrinth Child." She said and Sarah looks at her with wide eyes.

"That would of have been good to know." She said and she sits down beside the spirit. "I'm just not sure I can handle having this second person within me." She said and she could feel the spirits hand on her shoulder. "Give it time, you will get use to it and soon the two of you will be as one." The spirit said.

Sarah just lowered her head a little. "I talked to the castles chef earlier to day." She then said and the spirit looks at her surprised. "You did?" She asked and smiles. "Yes, I was hungry and the staff already had to much to do so I didn't want them to work even more to feed me." Sarah said.

"So I asked one of the goblins if there were a place where I could do my own dinner and it pointed towards a quiet place and it took about 10 minutes before the chef realised I was there. He was mad at first to find out that the Child of the Labyrinth was making her own food but after some talk he realised it might just be good if I did it myself." She then added and she was smiling fondly over the memorie.

The spirit sees the smiles and nods her head a little. "Anything else from the chef?" She asked and Sarah nods her head. "He is not overly found with Lady Leira and he wants the Champion back." She said.

The spirit smiled big and she raises up. "Good, this is a good start. Now you should head back, it's getting late after all." The spirit said and was soon gone. Sarah could not help but to roll her eyes in good humor and she raises up.

"Back to the castle we go then." She said to herself and she takes of as the sparrow hawk once more, heading straight for the room she has claimed as her own at the moment.
